From clicking through it quickly, it looks to be mostly trash. Not the genuine, quality conversation found here.

I'm confused here; we are talking about creating a new pub...while chatting in the old one.

Every night when we get 10+ people posting in the pub it crashes about every 15 minutes and won't load the last couple pages of posts. It usually takes quite a few minutes before it works again.

I don't see the shorter pub threads or training logs eat posts or not reload, so evidently the old pub is out of whack due to it's size or something else.

Just throw the old pub thread into the archives and START one new thread. If I recall correctly this was actually the state of affairs two days ago. What's the point of having THREE pub threads, with the main thread being out of whack?

It's also not like I'm the only who has suggested this. And all it involves is to

lock/move threads.

It's only been doing this since it was brought back from the archives. Something in the thread got corrupted during the move, and it happens every single night to everyone who posts in at as evidenced by the 800 "The Pub quit working" threads in the training logs. No other threads in the forum are having the problem.

You know I was thinking what if someone went back a couple thousand posts in the pub and edited their post to include porn. Would any of the mods be able to notice? I mean with threads that are like 100,000+ posts you can have like a porn sanctuary between posts like 45,000-50,000 and no one would notice unless they went back to look.
