Heh! I never had really long hair. We were a hardcore scene, not ****l. Even though the music sounded like ****l.

Most of us were straight edge actually, which was pretty lame and not me tal like at all.

When I interviewed for my current job they asked what I do for fun and I said, among some other stuff, "and I play bass in a band."

One of the folks interviewing me went to the same school as me, so she was like, "Oh, do you guys play this club or that club, blah blah" And I was like, "Well, no. Mostly we hang out at one guy's apartment, jam for an hour or so, then we just watch movies or hit the bars. And we tell girls we're in a band."

I may have found a solution for the people who live in places where "Bigger, Stronger, Faster" didn't play in your local theater.

1. You can see your collar bones/cheek bones/ribs/AC joints.
2. You’re under 200 lbs (any man under 200 lbs is a woman).
3. You have less than five years of solid training.
4. Someone has to ask you if you lift weights.
5. You have no visible muscle tone (i.e. you’re fat).

from Getting Ready to Powerlift

@ #2, yay I'm over 200 now I weigh like 205 I guess I'm not a woman anymore. I should start acting like a man here I guess.

Im interested in translating that solution into Armenian.

Im playing loads of SNES games on my PS2 these days, SNES probably one of the top 3 consoles ever.

I'm eating chestnuts right now and they are pretty dam good.

Chrono Trigger and A Link to the Past are still some of the best games ever made.

Ever beat ChronoCross? I was so pissed when I beat it. No answers, no closure, just some long as poem that made no sense and had no relevance to the game.

i want to get a knife. a really sharp knife. one that i can run my finger across lightly and draw blood. what kind should i be looking for rat-a-tat-tat?

A kitchen knife?

Good companies: Wustof, Henkle, Global, Shun
Wustof and Henkle have the most classic design
Global is made out of harder alloy and has a thinner blade, stays sharper longer but is more prone to breakage
Shun, japanese sword maker, personally I think they are over priced and the design doesn't appeall to me but some people like it

Any of these knives should last you the rest of your life and not being a professional chef could concievably last you grand children too

Buy a steel and a tri stone. the steel should be from the same company as your knife. Hone it with the steel everytime you use it. Sharpen it as needed (2x a year). Never send it to a grinder it wastes your knife and is expensive and is not needed EVER. Don't use diamond steels or sharpening machines.

Never cut anything not on a plastic or wooden cutting board.

Some discussion topics for tonight:

What is the most calorically dense sweet/cookie type thing you know of? That can be purchased in supermarkets preferably.

List your top 3 consoles EV4R and 3-5 of your fave games from each.

Who would win in a fight, the old pub or the new pub?

I think as long as its really sharp, any knife will do.

You should get a Katana for style points though.
