I'm watching Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels right now on one of the showtime channels.

Bacon, that free armenia thing is code for pm teh nudes.

or something close to that. since it's now a dubbable offense to ask for the nudez, thats code.

That's sad about UFC not picking up Fedor. my wife will be crushed.

I am a bit excited about a possible ownership from cuban or mcmahon, i think they could throw a lot of money into it and start something cool. maybe buy out other fighter contracts and set up some dream matches. who knows.

Your wife has a thing for Fedor?

Not like she wants his balls (i think, lol) but thinks he's the greatest fighter ever. She likes that he doesn't waste time and wait to fight. that he tries his hardest and is active.

Yeah I hear that.

Honestly at this point I'm guessing M-1 will make a run at Couture, he could fight Fedor as his official retirement fight for huge money....especially if Cuban is backing it with his endless supply of cash.

yeah, i agree with Juan, i'm not for any one organization. i just want to see some good match ups.

If I'm being honest, I am partial to the UFC because that is what got me started. But I watch ProElite and Cage Rage now. I didn't get to see much Pride, but the little I did see was fantastic.

Theres always DVD's! 2003 GP just came out recently, some awesome fights in there.

I was watching Atlantis: The Lost Empire, disney's animated version.

Anyhow, the Atlantean king's voice is done by Leonard Nimoy (Spock from Star Trek). Neat huh? Yep!

Yea, plus there are a bunch of threads about which dvds to get.

New topic time. What got you into MMA? I started watching on my parents cable which somehow magically got the PPVs every time. Anyway, I was pretty young so I don't know which UFC I watched first, but the earliest one I remember is UFC 17 I think, the one where Pete Williams kicked Mark Coleman in the head. Pretty sure I watched before that because I remember knowing who Coleman was.

I think our PPV channel changed because I think they stopped showing the PPVs at some point which is when I stopped watching until the dreaded TUF.

I watched UFC 4 on VHS when I was way too young to have any business watching it. Keith Hackney was my hero. I was disappointed that he didn't make any more appearances.
It was Don Frye in UFC 8 that sealed the deal for me though.

haha nice Finn. Woogie, I wanted to watch that and the K1 show in Seoul but I can't even find it on PPV. Stupid America and its lack of kickboxing.

I know right? I get everything off youtube. It's a pain in the ass being in america.

UFC 3 for me, but Frye in UFC 8 (and after) was the shit though, for sure!

Incidentally, I hated Marc Coleman with a passion for a long, long time after UFC 10.
