My dad calls it coke. I say soda or soft drink, because coke is a fucking brand. In my home county on that map(Catawba, North Carolina) its "other" which I'm sure is soft drink. I always considered those that called it pop to be weirdos from some far off land.

FINNEGAN - I have a 10-second clip of that rope weave drill I detailed earlier for you, but it's formated for quicktime for some reason so I can't upload it to youtube tonight :( I'll get Standard to try and do it tomorrow (it was done on his phone).

It's not a big deal, anyways, we were in a huge rush, literally on the way out the door, so I just kept it short and simple. I'll get the playing-off-of-the-back-foot video ASAP for you on his camera rather than his phone

For weaving, yeah, woog. It's just me doing this twice:

-Advancing behind 1-2 (push off back leg, step with left on jab, keep lead leg grounded + slide right forward on cross)
-Weave left (under imaginary right hand)
-Angle off

I do it twice, it's like an 8-second clip... which is rushed and filmed a bit close so you actually don't see my feet... haha... if you have MSN or email I can just send it your way since I can't get it on youtube

Got it brandon, thanks. See those slips I could actually use cause it's not a full weave where I would eat a knee to the jaw. I like the angling out part, I've never focused on that, I may do it unintentionally as in circling though.

Very rarely will you need to go lower than that with a weave if you time it properly. A lot of guys bend over at the waist and end up staring at your hips they get so low, but it's not necessary in boxing and is downright dangerous in MT as you know.. Try some out, it's a U motion with the upperbody, slight bend with the knees... and the angling out is huge, it'll help big time as an escape route and set-up for counters (you're already set to attack while your opponent has to be turning towards you.. that's MONEY)
