SSF Shooto Glove Review

Lucky man, to have money burning in his pocket. I wish I did...
 
Yeah it's rare for me too, but today's payday so if I don't buy gloves soon I'll just waste my money on something stupid like bills.
 
How is the grappling with these gloves? With a single piece on the back ,is it difficult to open/close your hand for grabbing, or is it pretty supple?

I'm def. considering a few pairs of these, my club currently uses the sherdog gloves. Getting punched with those isn't much of a picnic, and the alternatives (fairtex, primetime, etc.) were all way too $$$ for a college club.

Ron, do you do deals for 2 or more pairs?

Can't wait till these come out.

what is the minimum amount? i'd like to pick up two pairs to try out/start with for our club and then more when neccessary.

do we just mention our club in the 'notes' of the order page?
 
Ron, are you pre-selling to individuals, or just schools? Should I be worried about you selling out before I can get a pair?

They are very good when grappling, the way that the padding is allows for easy opening and closing. I have had no problems with subs. These stand out to me in the stand up the way that that padding sits its lke a hybrid boxing/mma glove it has nice thick padding over the punching area. Getting hit by these isn't too bad. It feels like a getting hit by a little boxing glove almost. Hope that answers your questions.

Arg553 we have sold most of the shin pads and thai pads already. About half of this order is spoken for in the Shooto gloves. I wasn't ready for the response that the schools and clubs have given us. I will be placing another order as soon as these arrive.

It's been a little while, but I figure they should be in pretty soon, right?
 
Awesome, I have worked the test gloves are still holding up after about 100 rounds. Can't wait for the final products Ron.
