Just make a better video and end the doubt.

Fair enough
I'm going to he weak as fuck after this week
First the flu
Now an upper respiratory infection from treating babies in the er (little bastards) and I just got done working 63 hours out of the last 5 days
Maybe I should buy stock in Gatorade and tylenol

Haha
Split my pants trying to film my squat at 335. Hope my balls don't fall out as I keep going. Pc is down. Hate to post a squat video with no talking in it, but it is what it is

My whole family has the flu and of course since I had a murder workout yesterday my joints are now killing me.

Buckle up
This flu is a bitch
I've been buried under patients with this shit

Thanks dudes,
This was last year on a mad dash to get really strong in 3 months before a meet, this after lifting sporadically for 3 years after being really dedicated 4-5 years ago (I was a regular here).

I haven't repped over 225 in over 6 months.....

Haven't tested but my best is 330.
Im sure I'm over that right now.

I am quite a ways off, but I have this need burning inside of me not to be a complete piece of shit so I am making it my goal to squat 405 in 2015.

Today I hit a 3x5 at 112kg. Can only go up from here.

Pulled 3x5x137 out of my ass today. Still a long, long way to go lol.

Got 455 belt less with reverse bands I set up incorrectly

They didn't do anything until just above parallel. I tested it with an empty bar and it floated about 3 inches above parallel.

Hopefully that will translate over well. Still struggling with eliminating the forward lean that robs me of depth sans bands.

Squatting with something under my heels as demonstrated above is the only way I'm able to hit depth (6'4".) As such, I box squat. Fuck me, right?

Is the pictured method "safe" on the knees?

Not really a fan of it, but, unless you slip forward, you might be ok. If you have pre-existing knee issues, hard to say.

For everybody whose goal is to squat four plates until the end of 2015, here is the place to show your progress and look how other fare on their way. My suggestion for the interested is to post their starting max and their PR's regularly. I'll update the numbers here on the first posts.

Ladies and Gentlemen, get to work.
that Dave Draper photo is one of my favs.

I too am in the quest. I started this year at 325lbs. Since returning from a broken ankle. As of my last max effort day, I am currently at 350lbs.

I use Draper's Top Squat when squatting high bar. My goal of a beltless 405 is coming along.

Still leaning forward instead of spreading the knees but for wearing chucks it went better than expected. Did triples up to 365 And then did 385 to see how it felt. Should've kept those videos I guess. They were below parallel, but I wanted to see what this looked like. Bottom is at 23 seconds if you want to skip to it. It's borderline. Not sure if this would count in a meet. Doing one in april. Just want 500 dead 400 squat 300 bench. Bench is easy, I can get 330 with a pause. The others are in reach.

Would squatting from the bottom on the rack help at all?

Can I still get in on this? Current PR is 385 lbs. high bar, no gear, no belt. Should hit 405 sometime mid-year.

Cincy I managed to stop the vid right at your transition point and you kissed parallel. It's a good lift.

Looks like you hit parallel exactly. Congrats.

Still gotta kill that forward lean. It's weird but if I set the pins above parallel just one or two pegs and I climb under it i can squat 545 (read about static holds and then ducked around with it even more just to see how far down I could move these weights).
