With this dumbass trend of not including a disc with collector’s editions I not only get the inconvenience of having to wait for my order to physically get here and not be able to preload, I also don’t get any advantages like ownership.

Worst of both worlds!

That’s why I gave up on physical. That and I got two cracked discs in the mail. If I love a game I’ll just buy merch from it instead like an art book or guide book

going to see The State in “Boston” (actually Medford) tonight, then by the time i get home i’ll be booting up the game
 
Welp, checked to see if my Amazon order had shipped. It hadn't and said it wasn't arriving until Monday so I canceled that bitch. Hopefully my local Fred Meyer will come through like usual.
 
I dont see the point in going digital as long as they're the same price. I can trade my physical copy in or let a friend borrow it. I can't do that digitally. If they knocked $10 off or something I might consider it for a game like this.
 
I doubt anyone will agree with me but I find these Spider-Man games to be best in fidelity mode and I’m usually someone that prefers performance. I like the increased traffic because it makes the city feel more alive and I enjoy having more details in things like then hair which sometimes look a bit washed out in the other modes. This is the type of game I eventually plan on playing again if the PS Pro is a real thing next year. I can’t play until Saturday night when the family is asleep. The wait is hard
 
40fps mode for me when I get chance to start later anything Insomniac lately that has had 40fps has worked so well so far. It's been hell with it sat on my PS5 for the last week or so with the countdown
 
was able to get through 20% before work & it def feels like i’ve barely scratched the surface of the story. playing & swinging as Miles Spidey is so much fun, but i honestly think i might prefer playing as Peter Spidey on the strength of his suit selection alone (so far). i’m not really digging a lot of the early game Miles suits or their color variants.

100%, the fidelity with the frame rate bump makes it a must for me.

I can't stand getting up from my couch to change games. I tried to stay with physical but the comfort of changing games and not getting up is to great. Plus with my son now getting into gaming the last thing I want is him handling physical media.
 
Fred Meyer clutch as usual, even got the preorder bonuses.
