A month and a half early? Don’t they worry about leaks coming out? Seems a bit odd because it’s not some BG3 or Starfield sized game

Pretty sure Ragnarok codes went out quite early too compared to release. Evidently really confident in the game

Has Spiderman 2 officially gone gold then? I guess they are super confident in it, and trustworthy as well. It would be awful if some reviewer leaked it that early.

How do you think this game will score overall? The original got an 87.

Guessing there will be some announcement soon that they've gone gold.

I reckon score wise 87-89 give or take

I think it will be great either way but I do have faith this will be one of the higher rated PS games of the PS5 era. They are taking everything they've learned from the previous one and going to leave out stuff people complained about and make it better.

Hoping my controller arrives today.

I remember playing that back in 2018 and it was the first game since Nier Automata that I couldn't put down. It's rare for me to play a game and get 100% without feeling like a chore at times, it was just really fun swinging through the city and beating up baddies. I never even used the trains at all.
 
Spiderman 2 previews dropping on Friday. Looks like it was a fan focused event that happened yesterday. Really nice thing for them to do.

Also related, the dev team for Spiderman 2 is moving onto Wolverine to help work on the game. Hopefully we get a 2024 release for that. They are carrying Sony this gen, so many releases on the PS5 from just one dev is insane.

Kinda glad I had to miss State of Play. I haven’t needed to see another second of this game. If you couldn’t tell, I’m sold lol.
