Social Speaking to kids today

Good morning boys! Today I am going to speak to a summer camp of kids between the ages of 8 and 11.

I used to work with kids and was a teacher previous to my career in law enforcement, so I have plenty of experience speaking to children.

My question for you guys and it was something I thought about this morning is how different our kids from the last time I worked with them in 2009?

Am I going to go in there with a bunch of kids holding cell phones up doing Tik Tok dances?

How many kids will be dressed like animals?

Do we still bully?

I've realized I may be in over my head and wanted the help of my sherbros to answer all these questions.

Most kids these days appear deaf, dumb, and mute. You talk to them and they just stare and look confused like Joe Biden. So just talk at them and don't expect much back and forth.

Don't have sex with the kids. I know it's become more popular in the last couple years, but just don't do it.

On a more serious note, if you're funny and personable and their level they'll be more inclined to listen to you.

Well boys! Quick update on my time with the summer camp. The kids asked a lot of great questions and we had some fun. I met a few future. Sherdoggers. One kid and I swear to God with this was as big as I was. I also said huge if true to one of the kids that asked the question.

I almost posted a "nice knowing you guys" thread in Mayberry after I had posted my thread in heavies calling out the mods for being full of shit.

Instead got 2 threads pulled and PMs from mods.

Kind of surprised no dubs.

I am not sure that they are that different, if not much, much softer and less aggressive. The cell phone drones start a bit later, say around 13.

Yeah for sure, I've had some experience coaching kids sport and I pretty much just treated them like people, peers in a way but you need to pull them into line occasionally too. I find kids listen to a man a lot more than a woman that's for sure.
