Forget embassies his best chance of survival comes down to how good he is at exiting the country.

1. Immediate exit to Cambodia or Malaysia is atmost crucial here. This is the set goal!

2. Use fishermen but you gotta pay them. They have boats

3. Use stealth while exiting the Hotel and the street exit unexpected times like 5AM or 6AM in the morning

4. Get someone to negotiate with a fisherman to smuggle you! before leaving the Hotel! The port is not far from you like less then an hour drive.

5. You need to act quickly you got like 24 hours to exit Thailand

Where are you getting the story about the clothes. The thing on IG about the clothes being returned is kind of ambiguous to me as to whether they are genuinely assisting him or not.

From what I made of the IG posts, his girl threw his clothes out awhile back, someone gave the hotel the clothes recognizing them to be his, she dressed him in stolen clothes to set him up, then she walked him to waiting police to arrest him for stealing. He then found his bag of clothes in the office.

Typing it out, the jump from being accused of stealing clothes to finding his bag of clothes at the front desk is even more jarring than I realized. Not even mentioning the fact that both the hotel held on to the clothes, the police gave him the benefit of the doubt despite waiting for him, and someone recognizing his bag of clothes.
