Girlfriend (or a Thai woman) seemed fine. She was the one who opened the door. When he came to the doorway, she walked away out of sight. Both seemed really mellow and relaxed. So relaxed I assumed Joshua was napping but apparently he wasn’t.

If he called the embassy and asked them to send FBI and CIA to protect him, I'd totally understand why they'd drop the call and block his phone number - lol

Let's say he is right and the peeps that want to off him have powerful connection and are currently aware of his location - well, they wouldn't care to tail him in order to off him. They'd just send someone over and off him then. He's a farang - tons of farangs disappear in Thailand under mysterious circumstances with little investigation done by the police. Police can be easily bribed in Thailand - so again, if the evil entities out to get this fellow exist and they are that powerful - paying a little bribe after offing him at the hotel wouldn't be a big deal.

Point being - we are still looking at the mental case scenario - with a strong possibility of drugs being involved.

He might have, just a guess but potentially because he thought his phone was tapped by the Thai Government and stuff, he might have thought his attempts of communication would fail.... Or alternatively, he's full of shit!

For a second, I thought about snapping a photo of him when he came to the door.. but as stupid as it was, I legit was checking up on him and didn’t think it was tasteful to make the guy into a spectacle on a forum when he’s dealing with some serious issues. Especially because I had no idea what his condition was when he came to the door. Sounds counter to posting everything up until he came to the door, but hey... that’s where I thought the appropriate line should be drawn. Hope he gets help...
