***SOS HELP ME IMMEDIATELY***

The man is having a full mental breakdown, not unlikely caused by extensive use of Ice/Yaba. Probably has not slept for a few days and is in need of medical care. That is serious enough but he won’t get shot by the thai mafia anytime soon.

The instagram info sounds incredibly like a schizophrenic episode, extreme paranoia and lots of actions described as being done by others that don't really make sense. I've had to deal with it from my brother and it doesn't sound like out of the ballpark for what a schizophrenic would think during a episode.

MODS DO NOT DELETE

My name is Joshua Harley and I am a 33 year old Canadian. There's a very good chance my life is now finished forever.

I need you to contact the embassy of Canada RIGHT Now if you are reading this. As well as any other agency that you think can help me while being stranded overseas in Thailand. Anything and everything will help. Make absolutely as much noise as you can.

CNN, FBI, everything. Contact them all immediately. You need to make as much noise as possible or I'm dead before midnight I guarantee it.

I am at white orchid inn 2 on soi 4 in Nana plaza and I have no way of getting to the embassy. The entire hotel is helping, in fact most of the street is because it's my life or hers. The Mafia will shoot me dead before I make it to the embassy.

I will either be framed for about a thousand bullshit crimes I didn't do, and then be expected to raise millions to avoid being shot dead or thrown in jail for some ridiculous amount of time. Or I'll simply be shot dead later on today.

If you are reading this, please help me out. I don't want to die here in this hotel on this road. I want to go home.
Is there a Canadian version of the FBI that I can tag in my twitter tweet ?

Was literally passing Soi 4 on the BTS in Bangkok when I read this thread... won’t get into my past life, but every time I’ve dealt with this type of “help me. They’re after me” ..it’s been related to meth/or another type of drug. I’ll cruise by the hotel in about an hour just to take a look.

Unless his phone died or he passed out. I think he would have responded on IG or here.

I think it's too late.

In one of his IG replies, he says "please hurry"

Well that is heartbreaking. Rereading it with that in mind, it makes a lot of sense.

Thanks I did it. This is what the fuck.
It’s weird how you can piece his life together. That first video posted, there’s one comment from 5 months ago saying “hey bro you disappeared pre-covid hope you’re alive and well,” which coincides with his prison stint. Then his Mayberry post about his experience in prison picks up after that. That thread is pretty insane.

This is just from google, because I’m too lazy to type stuff out by myself:

“Meth psychosis is usually characterized by paranoia and hallucinations where a person believes someone is out to get them”

you might have other symptoms, too, including:
  • Being agitated or jumpy
  • Talking very quickly
  • Jumping from one topic to another
  • Having conversations that are hard for others to follow
  • Having very strange or unusual beliefs
  • Believing others are conspiring against you
  • Having itchy skin, which may feel like there are bugs crawling on you

People with meth-related psychosis are more likely to have hallucinations, causing them to see or hear things that aren’t actually there.

Because psychosis means a person is disconnected from reality, it is extremely unlikely that you’ll recognize psychosis if you experience it. Instead, you might feel agitated and upset, wonder why no one believes you, or feel very different from everyone else.”

So assuming this is a schizophrenic episode? What can happen next and is there anything we can do to help?
