The dude is a world champion who is part of a well established history of fighters that have been underpaid, treated nefariously, etc. by UFC brass. If you think otherwise, you haven't been following the sport long enough or closely enough.
If Francis thought there was a chance at greener pastures, does that make him a piece of shit? Come on man. On top of that, folks are kicking a man who has claimed to be doing some of this in order to establish better equality for fighters. If these altruistic claims are taken at face value, then Francis is a good dude. We should be rooting for him not crapping on him imho. But whadda fuck do I know.
While the UFC has been an incredibly prosperous and fantastic promotion (especially post TUF), fighting with them is like working for a boss with Borderline Personality Disorder. They love you to pieces one minute and then are looking to bury you the absolute second that you do anything they are not thrilled with. There is an antitrust lawsuit going on for a reason Bruv. The promotion has largely done well for the fans (in terms of entertainment)...but many of the fighters deserve better.
