Song Dedication Thread v4, "Combat your commentary" Edition

Summer choon for @FadeLess first stumbled over this when I heard it every day at a bar in Portugal I used to go after a day at the beach and asked to write the title down for me as this was pre Shazam(like 20 years ago). Ever since I have it on my summer/chill playlist so it comes up every now and then. You might like it - instant good vibes, warm sound ☀️ @Chules give it a spin too! :)

My brother!!! You are too good.

Here... I dont know if you are gonna like this...

Cheers, Bro.

Happy Friday @Carrotman23 honorable contributor to the ONE FC and numerous PbP threads. ONE on prime Friday night fights in about 9 hours!

Also for lovers of music in particular @Brogan who started tonight's ONE on prime PbP thread.

From Terror Twilight a great Pavement album. Maybe some literate dawgs still reading can provide their interpretation of the hilarious lyrics. I think it's sorta about licorice ropes, liquor and having good times.

Beautiful song, lovely. I'll listen to it again before UFC 305.

This song is specially for you and @Jackonfire ... this guy is an Australian singer and because UFC 305 is in Australia I only found it fitting to be played today. This song can replace "face the pain" for the UFC 305 for you and Jack

Man, there's just something about guys named Slim. Wonderful song and I agree, this should be played at UFC 305. So much good music from Australia. This has always been one of my favorites and its just for you:

Hey @Jackonfire here's a pristine mix of an outrageous Stones song. The song's intro was influenced by the Velvets. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stray_Cat_Blues. Note graffiti "Bob Dylan's Dream" at 3:32. Not long after the Stones said they were dropping Brown Sugar from their set I saw Bob open with it. The jester indeed. Here's Bob on those bad boys: “The Rolling Stones are truly the greatest rock and roll band in the world and always will be. The last too. Everything that came after them, metal, rap, punk, new wave, pop-rock, you name it, you can trace it all back to the Rolling Stones."
