!!! Somesone's Getting Fired Tonight !!!

This is why there's a commission. Can't trust the Baldfather to do what's right. Hopefully he gets a fine and suspension
He should get one of those trophies, like PRIDE gave to tourney winners, a FOTY award, and also be put into the HALL OF FAME for that fight

The all time kings picture belongs no where near Jean Silva..

Shame on you

No life or the chair, brother, I said up to 20 years in the slammer.
I never understood the daley ban tbh. Sure its a cheap shot but he hit him softly once and it was over. Same for jean. I mean, fine them but other than that, at least in those 2 occurences, its way too much for me. Frustration can run deep when you fight, that explains a lot. Plus when i see what was done by khabib, bisping, i smell a double standard that i dont like.

No way the UFC is letting Jean Silva go after a fight like that.

Dana and crew will rationalize it as 'heat of the moment' to contrast it from the Daley incident years ago. Hopefully a media member has the balls to press it in the post-fight presser just so we can hear Dana's b.s. though lol
Dana does love himself some double standards.

They'd be right. He just TKO'd the other guy, who was probably disoriented and foggy, and then he's standing directly over him talking trash to his corner. This is why they usually keep the fighters away from each other immediately after a stoppage. The actual contact was minimal, and it was definitely provoked, and the fighter reacting to the provocation was not in clear control of his faculties.

Mostly a nothing-burger. What there is that's bad is the result of poor control of the Octagon in the immediate aftermath of a stoppage.

Daley was a victim of the times, bro. UFC was wanting to look more like a legitimate sport and shake its human cock-fighting image for a while there. Daley hitting after the bell didn't help their efforts. Them coming down hard on him did help their efforts.

Nothing like that will happen to Silva. Heck, if the Daley incident happened right now he wouldn't have gotten banned lol.

I don't disagree...but there is also a healthy dose of self-interest when the UFC approaches these situations.

It's true that the ref should have kept Lopes away from Silva after he waves it off.

Punching someone in the back of the head after a fight is unacceptable. Silva deserves the Paul Dailey treatment.

Well yes it's unacceptable in the fight so would definitely be afterwards ha ha
