Crime Someone tried to assassinate Donald Trump at his rally in Butler, Pennsylvania

Right, it's different but not in a meaningful way IF we're looking forward and talking about the likelihood of wide scale rioting etc. That's what I've been saying, and is my focus.
Again you have the likely Dem nominee for prez that tweeted support for arrested rioters last time. These aren't abstract hypotheticals. She inserted herself directly into that situation.
But I don't care only about the possibility of wide scale rioting, I care specifically about the corrosion of our norms and institutions which has been brought about largely by one man backed by one party and that's my focus. The Jan 6th riot is a symptom of it but much of the most sinister work was not done by the rioters but by people behind the scenes like Mike Eastman and Rudy Giuliani.

That's fair. Widescale rioting driven by ideological differences erodes the fabric of our society, but absolutely so does what your referencing. I think (and I could be wrong) that in a post Trump world we are going to see a regression to the mean on those norms and institutions. Regardless of who's running for each party.

My concerns are more imminent. And quite frankly, hopefully unfounded. I'd absolutely love to be wrong and that no matter who wins, the other side accepts it and we move forward with less vitriol. It's just hard to see it, identify politics is so rampant. And Trump has more blame than anyone, but his haters sure took the bait too.

AOC couldn't even give US a week. Back to the disgusting rhetoric.
This "violent rhetoric" talk is fucking annoying. Let everyone say crosshairs, bullseye, fight, threat to democracy and anything else that some baby or moron wants to call "violent rhetoric". Unless someone literally says they want a specific person murdered then everyone should just shut the fuck up about it.

They keep being adamant on having insecure elections and then gaslighting about the 2020 election being "the most secure election ever".

Why do they insist so much on making elections insecure and vulnerable when they supposedly care so much about free and fair elections?
This isn't even a matter of "whoa, I'm not sure that was 100% accurate". It's the most insane fucking thing I've ever seen. Like what the hell?

There were 91 million ballots mailed out in 2020, tens of millions to people who didn't request them, plenty mailed to people who already voted in person, almost a million returned as "undeliverable", and 15 million that weren't returned and ended up in "unknown" status. The election was decided by 44,000 votes in 3 states, and people are supposed to be satisfied with 15 million live ballots floating around that were shot out of a potato gun and nobody knows what ever happened to them in a year where 7.5 million people moved states, 20% percent of mail in voters admitted to committing some type of fraud, like 17% admitting to voting in a state they no longer lived in.

How nice that with about 45 million first time mail in voters who'd never voted by mail before, everybody completely nailed it and the rejection rate was the lowest on record by a huge margin compared to previous election where you actually had to request them and show that you are the person the ballot is being sent to, yet when all of that is removed, nothing gets rejected.

To say something as ridiculous as "free and fair election" and "most secure election ever" means absolutely nothing more than that you got the result you wanted, and has 0 to do with actually thinking that a straight up shit show of an election was more accurate than people showing up to vote, and we know that's true because the week before the election like 52% of democrats said that the election would probably or definitely be free and fair, and the very next week it jumped to 92% declaring that it was the fairest election ever, and the only thing that changed was that they got the result they wanted.

So do you also consider Tony Kornheiser a real registered Republican even though he is but has never actually voted for a Republican candidate?

Did he register as one?

Yes but has never voted for a Republican candidate…much like Crooks.

Then there's your answer.

Do you know for sure the voting record of the shooter?

Irrelevant really since the Republican was a registered Republican.

This gentleman is Michael Steele former chairman of the Republican party. Remember when there were actual red waves, and the GOP was a juggernaut? Yeah, that was HIS doing. But when certain "elements" infiltrated the party, he was booted out.

He's still a registered Republican and he says there's NO WAY that he's voting for Trump.

It is what it is.

I'm almost positive there will be another attempt on Trump's life before election day.

I don't think deep intelligence lets him play for another four.
They'll let the election happen. If he wins, I would suggest he lays low for two months, and gets inaugurated on a SpaceX vessel, and govern from there.

The shooter was 16 years old in the 2020 election, do you think they mailed him a ballot for him to vote illegally, or you think he was just a huge Dr. Oz supporter in the mid terms? I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess he probably didn't vote for the guy he just tried to murder in the primary this year.

And I thought everyone who didn't support Obama was a racist, but for some reason those same white supremacists made Michael Steele the head of the RNC?
