Trump has not told anyone to physically assault anyone. I’m not even going to do the “whataboutism” but there are plenty of Democrats, your president included, who have specifically endorsed and alluded to their want and request for physical violence.

You hate this guy so much, whether just or unjust, that you have to manipulate and mischaracterize the things he says to further enrage yourself. Not healthy. Is every post which highlights allegedly violent left rhetoric taking the rhetoric directly from Biden’s mouth? No, almost none of them are. There’s posts from all sorts of left-leaning nobodies. as well as some post from other left-leaning politicians.

But if I do the same with Trump supporters and right-leaning politicians, you come back with “oh, we aren’t talking about them”?

Come on man. Clearly it was not. That entire area should've been locked down and nobody allowed to enter during the speech. The shooter should have never had the opportunity to enter that property.

Yeah, the greater failure seems to be on local police responsible for screening the area and not engaging with the suspect when they located him, giving him a chance to fire.

The Secret Service eliminated the threat within 15 seconds and had thrown themselves on top of Trump faster than that. I would say the Secret Service are the main reason Trump is still alive.

Wild take, the SS has the responsibility to protect Trump. The fact that a shooter got some shots off is a MASSIVE failure and it really cannot be overstated how big of an SS fuck up this was.

The only question is whether they're personal errors (we've seen the famous pics of that one DEI hire hide like a coward) or if the error was at the top. Probably a mix of both and heads need to roll there. To be clear, that means people at the SS need to be fired or even worse than that.

There is no probably about it. A high school senior with no training could have set up a more secure perimeter. Oh look, a building with a line of sight on the stage, shouldn't we put a sniper on top of that building? In one way I agree with you. The issue is then I think about the story with the person running into the white house. That person got into the Whitehouse and was stopped by an off duty SS agent. I think that's even crazier than what happened to Trump honestly.

What are you not getting? The guy should never had the chance to grab a ladder and climb up to that roof in the first place. The sniper should never have needed to return fire at all. Sure, the SS reacted properly and stopped the thread after it happened, but it should've never gotten to where that guy found his way onto the property.

Of all the people I've put on my ignore list, you're the one I hate having to do it to the most by far.
