Someone tell em....Royce Gracie moved up like 12 weight classes in original UFC!

Royce fought bums and retarded guys. Are you comparing them to Nate ?

Did any poster say Conor was the first to do it?
No, but the conor fanboys reeeaaallly put alot of emphasis on weight being the only reason he lost.

Sooooo........

Nope, just Conor himself.
Remember his instagram post?
He wanted us to let him know if and when a champion ever moves up a weight class.
To be fair, he said 2 weight classes but we all know he only moved up one.

and c'mon, the nuthuggers were making all sorts of claims, all you got to do is read the forum.

He moved up 2....clearly you cant count.

He fought at FW.....skipped LW.....fought at WW....

For the life of me i cant understand how so many sherdoggers have difficulty counting to two.

Mcgregor was putting on weight and still never reached 170....nate was coming off vacation and had to cut.....but not that much.....

Mcgregor went from fighting with equal and smaller sized opponents to fighting someone bigger than him....

The fight goes differently at 155....

Royce fought Shamrock in his prime. Would Conor beat Ken Shamrock in his prime? Would Conor have beaten Dan Severn in his prime? Would Conor have beaten Kimo in his prime?

No. No. And no. Gracie did. And he did it with FAR worse striking than Conor's today.

Do you think GSP weighed 170 pounds when he fought BJ at WW?

Nate beats Conor at 155 too.
You want to know why?
Because on fight night, Nate will weigh 170 and Conor will weigh 169 just like their "WW" fight.

delusional, I will put you down as that and move on.

Then of course another epic weight class jump...on very short notice...

Did he fight at WW?

dude, c'mon.
We all know that was a LW fight without the cut.
Nate is a natural LW.
Conor is a natural LW.

and what difference does it make, your boy himself said "weight" is not an issue when it comes to warrior blah, blah, blah.
He said that pre fight and now he's changing his mind afterwards.
and you're going along with it because Conor says so.

it's pathetic.

I'm not going along with anything because McGregor said so. I'm not a follower. I can make my own mind up.

I've explained the 'weight excuse' on another thread.
I've explained the Conor is a LW/Nate is a LW thing on another thread.

It's pointless. Conor haters will not listen to any reason or fact, much like his nuthugging fans. I'm all up for a reasonable discussion, but it's pointless unless both parties are willing to play ball.

I'm a delusional Conor fanboy hater.
I am willing to concede that Conor is bad ass for moving up and going for LW gold.
That is a ballsy move and I respect and admire that.

My point is:
If they decided to fight at LW, they would have weighed in at 155.
But at fight night, Conor would have weighed 169 and Nate at 170.
Just like the weight they actually did fight at.
So it was really a LW fight, they just skipped the weigh in.

It will go down in the record book as a WW fight only because they didn't feel like cutting weight.
That's the point.
It's not like Nate was huge and Conor was tiny.
It was no where near the size difference for the BJ vs GSP fight
or the Couture vs Brock fight.

Conor didn't lose because Nate was bigger, Nate was just better.

He sure did. And the purposely put Royce in instead of Rickson just because they wanted every opponent to be bigger than their guy. Amazing.

That was the original legend. That Rorion picked Royce over Rickson because Royce was a twig.

It was later revealed though, that Rorion really did want Rickson who also wanted to be the family rep in the UFC. But it all boiled down to Royce was always there for Rorion. So, Rorion felt that Royce simply deserved that spot in the UFC more than any other brother did.
