Social Some illegals may be voluntarily leaving

Yeah I dont know where you're talking about but here in Vegas ICE was snatching people up. And Asylum seekers who were in processing were getting letters to get out once the expedited process took effect. The expedited process meaning some clerk could just stamp your application "no" without it going to a trial. Our lawn guy got deported in 2018, and it sucked because his wife and Son tried to maintain his business. After a while they just couldnt. A fighter I was training from Uganda got one of those letters.

This is why multiple cities (including ours) terminated their ICE contracts. Because they realized ICE was out of control. Seems we have short memories about this:

What's wrong with this?
This is how most countries work man. If you aren't there legally you are out within days in Asia and Africa.

I was talking to a fighter who’s here illegally. He said he’s in the process of being deported and his case won’t sit in front of the judge until 2027 bc the courts are so backed up. If things don’t go his way he can file an appeal and kick the can down the road a few years to try again.

Hes fortunate. Many got deported at airports or as part of raids under Trump and there was no "catch and release" under his zero tolerance sh*t...even when it was our mistake with paperwork of people who werent here illegally.

And when you promise to go hard on deporting 11 million people, many of them will definitely NOT be undocumented

I work in the trades and I do side work in construction doing piece work and I work in the hotel industry where some temporary employees are getting paid under the table to clean rooms, etc..
so Trump winning has illegals very worried. and the word going around is that they're really contemplating leaving now before he's in office. They're literally afraid they're all going to be rounded up and shipped back leaving all their stuff here. And the biggest thing is that, I dont know if this is true or not, is they heard that if they don't leave now, they'll be blacklisted forever and can never come back. Whereas if they leave voluntarily they can apply for legally migrating to the US. this whole week, its' a lot of what they've just been talking about.
If you’re deported you’ll be banned from legally entering the US for a few years (5, 10, or 20 years, depending on the circumstances). In some cases you could face a permanent ban (if you committed an aggravated felony, I think). And if you need a visa to enter there’s a good chance you won’t be getting one for the rest of your life. Leaving before being deported is definitely not a bad idea.

edit:
Btw... I saw a guy get deported from Canada once. I was waiting for my flight to Brazil when I noticed three guys sitting together but not talking, which seemed a bit odd to me. I don’t think they exchanged a single word the entire time. It took me a while to realize the guy in the middle was handcuffed, hands in front. They were super discreet tbh I think I only noticed because I was there alone. They walked him onto the plane, took off his cuffs, and left. The guy looked embarrassed the whole time.

Look, youre a xenophobe, I get it. I'm not and nothing you say is going to make xenophobia sound palatable to me.

People like you claim to want everyone here legally who is here, and then vote for people who make the legal process as slow and painful and costly as possible. So miss me with that bullsh*t.

They don't belong here. Basically none of them qualify for asylum, they're just taking advantage of a broken system. They need to go home.

Imagine the arrogance of making a declarative statement about where anyone "belongs."

You sound like the type of person who patrols your neighborhood for people you dont like the look of.

I’ll believe the shit when i see it. Hillary’s getting locked up and my subscription to Unity expires in January.
For a party that just talked about how this guys a total fucking liar for 8 years maybe pump the brakes on the fear propaganda.

Well I didn't miss you did I. You responded. This is how the vast majority of societies work. You do NOT enter without validity. Take it from someone who's had to do these processes in almost 80 countries across all continents. No visa, no valid entry? No pass. Its very basic stuff fella that you seemingly can't grasp.

They talk about it here and it's getting a lot of support even from the communities

What will happen?
It depends upon their individual circumstances, many of which I know nothing most likely, for example:
people who have merely overstayed visas (for whatever reason, not always deliberately) or are seasonal migrant workers may be permanently denied entry from then on,
they have no control over the circumstances of their departure nor where they'll be shipped to and that could be be troublesome or even dangerous,
and I suggest it might also be to preserve a little personal dignity, among other things. Sometimes it feels better to leave of your own volition before you get thrown out.

There's not a single country in the world that has open borders where anyone can come from anywhere and become a citizen of that country.

As such, people who do not go through a country's immigration process anywhere in the world do not "belong" in that country.

How it went: "We love Trump because hes a man of his word!! We believe he will deliver exactly what he says!!"

How its going: "Ugh. Can you believe anyone thinks hes actually gonna do EXACTLY what he says?"

Emergency federal ressources should be used to build a grid and a process to deport those millions, register them and making sure they would have a ban case by case.

I believe Trump is going to be able to create such network of public officials, for once taxes being well used.

If its putting hillary behind bars that SOB better do it.

This is the second or third time you bring this up. I keep asking you for sources and you don't provide any.

Obviously you'll get kicked out if you commit serious crimes, but where is the evidence of "Asia and Africa" hunting down and expelling people that are working restaurant of construction jobs?

countries have the authority to usher out people who didn't legally enter
what moral grounds do you have for your views? it's mean?

furthermore, you can welcome illegal immigrants out of the country and not be xenophobic. the concept of having a secure border and being welcoming to people who legally immigrate are not mutually exclusive.

Yeah that's why Trump wants to reform and expedite that process.
