I keep reading how in oder to be great at soccer all you ever do is soccer. So if all ya do is kick a ball around how are you going to be a great athlete?

lol hey man your words not mine criteria to be good athlete is being realllly fast well there is alot of data that nfl takes fifa takes and independent companies take that say soccer players on average are faster than nfl players so if speed is your critiria for being top athlete top soccer speed players are better athletes then top speed nfl players curently

Those "great athletes" can't make to a u14 boys football team

Any fast and strong athlete can make to the NFL but no matter how fast they are they can't be good enough to play in semi amateur football teams. American football is a inferior low skilled sport in which you can be good at with just speed and strenght while in football even with all athleticism you still can't make to the pro level

yeah they only need one skill speed but even that is not something unreachable by other sports athletes soccer rugby with prof has as fast players as nfl player and also have stamina strenght leaping ability cr7 has highest leap of all athletes at 40.7 vertical to endurance. nfl has none of that and on top of that soccer is played by foot

there is that infamous game where one team was going no huddle and other tam faked injury because they were gassing and that is just for 4-5 downs going non stop.that is why they take their time between each downs because if they were going non stop with out any huddles or what ever they would die on field litteraly and figurativly oxygen masks would constantly be brought to field or substitutions would be endless
