so where the outrage at this fight pay. again

if this was a ufc fight purse list that what all be yelling about.

i notice cause people like scott coker not one word from the media about this. how is it fair to pay a fighter 2k in 2023.

Usman Nurmagomedov, Benson Henderson and Alexandr Shabily lead Bellator 292 salaries - MMA Fighting
Both the UFC and Bellator can be wrong. Bellator, as arguably the second biggest MMA organization, should be paying their undercard fighters more, and UFC should also pay more. UFC is getting all the scrutiny because it's the biggest organization by far

Guess he didn't meet his quota for scalping tickets

Look into it.

my problem is the media only calls out the ufc for it. combat sports is bigger than the ufc. boxers have died in the ring an there families got nothing from there promoters.

They need health insurance more than anything. So wrong that they aren't covered for that when they put their bodies on the line for our entertainment.

that why i dont get the double standard from the media like ariel.

Bellator pay structure is similar to other pro sports at around 50% of revenue, they just don't bring in a lot of money compared to the ufc who pays under 20%. It's not that hard to understand.

I think all combat sports athletes with a promoter or who are part of an organization should have it unless they are terminated by the company or if they retire.

It's not about the total amount it's the percentage of the purse that fighter's get and the way an organization treats their fighters - sorry for Dana and his fanboys, but people want to see the fighters, despite some juiced up camera hungry promoter getting far more air time and publicity for himself.

Too bad there's no real competition forcing the UFC to pay the fighters, the people putting their asses on the line and actually bringing in the money a fair wage.

Bellator fighters get paid a higher percentage at 44% + of the take when compared to the UFC 's screwing their fighters right in the ass by paying them only 16-20% of the revenue. Also, the UFC limits and controls sponsors taking a cut, again limiting money for fighters.

"Hal Singer’s Expert Report also has some details on Bellator fighter pay and contracts. According to the report, fighter compensation was 44.7% of Bellator’s revenue from 2010-2016"

"Bader said he lost anywhere from $20,000-$65,000 per fight after the UFC signed an exclusive apparel deal with Rebook.
The deal severely restricts fighters' ability to receive non-Reebok sponsorships—a historically significant revenue stream, particularly for more established fighters like Bader"

so it ok for the prelim fighter to get 2k cause i cant see how that can be defended. fighers used social media in the ufc. ariel crying about fighers purses and no health care. dont see him asking scott coker or viacom about that

2k cant be defended an look at boxing why are they asked about it. i dont get the double standard.

The guys on Bellator's very early prelims are often just regional guys who they give a place on the card because they're local to where the show is. 2k is still more than they'd get on a regional show at their level of experience.

<sigh>
Research the meaning and purposes of disclosed payouts. This topic has been covered a million times.

but they bash the ufc over it not anyone else. i dont get teh double standard.
Everyone likes to shit on the ufc about everything. And since it’s the largest so naturally it gets the most attention.

Definitley dont need to making daily threads about each card payout thats for sure.

No. You are wrong. What good does it do? Tell me, please. How has your interest and constant whining and bitching about fighter pay changed anything?
