So whats the call on Nunes vs Cyborg?

Going with Cyborg

More experience, stronger. Imo

Agreed.

Cyborg could have won most of her fights without even training yet she trains harder than the rest of the girls. She will come in in the best shape of her life for this fight now that she has a challenge.
 
I really want Nunes to win but I feel Cyborg is just too strong and manly...
 
Nunes is better when it comes to technique.. with boxing. But Cyborg wins due to all other areas of dominance. Stronger, harder hitter, better BJJ... It's a pretty clear path to victory for Nunes. Cyborg has more options and so I tend to side with her, when it comes to the W. Nunes still has a better chance than anyone else in the UFC
 
interesting because If I were to pick anyone to have the best shot to beat Cyborg, I'd be picking Nunes.

They may be disappointed, but that’s the big question.... What happens when Cyborg gets cracked in the face by somebody willing and able to give her a firefight!

I think Amanda can make it a great fight...

Holly v Cyborg showed the Champ has some good stamina and can fight pretty smart..... But Nunes will not remain a counter striker like Holly did.

Cyborg righty favored... Nunes a very live dog
 
I have the impression that Nunes has a chance to beat Cyborg, but then I recall the times when we thought that Rousey would have a chance against Cyborg.... Idk man, anything goes.
 
It’s a hard one. I’ve seen openings in Cyborgs stand up. She rushes forward, usually with her hands just under her chin. Holly landed a couple straight lefts, but couldn’t make an impact. One could argue Nunes hits harder. I think this fight will come down to distance control for Nunes, how she will deal with Cyborgs pressure. I see this fight going 5 rounds, so the gas tank will be a factor.

I hope it is a war. That would be great.

I tend to think Cyborg will just be too much for Nunes, but it would be great to see both girls have to dig deep.

My perfect scenario for any big title fight is this - both fighters get off the mat (recover from a moment where they were hurt) and someone comes back to win by stoppage.
 
Nunes backs out of the fight is my guess with injury/illness

Also makes her slower.
 
Leaning Cyborg. Cyborg has only had trouble so far when Holly held her against the cage. Cyborg could look old and slow over night but it's probably going to be a straight striking match and I don't think Nunes is anything special outside of her reach.

Damn. Great prediction. Honestly after reading that youve even convinced me. I still do think Nunes could win this fight early, if she can rock Cyborg and get a TKO or just a questionable ref stoppage. Other than that, I dont see Nunes chances looking spectacular but if anyone can beat Cyborg its Nunes. I just can count her out, but youre right in her being a big under dog. Anyways, we'll see.
 
I give Nunes a lot of credit for taking this fight. She didn't have to, and she's going to get the beating of her life. Money, and retirement must have come into play for her.
