I watched Ip Man 3 last night; good film 8/10.

The scene were Ip Man takes Mikes 3 minute challenge. Mike seems to be toying with him, barely braking a sweat. Ip was busted up by the time the challenge ended.

I know that Ip had a clean shot to Mike's groin at the end but Mike also had a clean shot at an uppercut. So leading up to the draw and held back final blows on both parties Mike was getting the better of Ip.

Is Mike's character better than Ip and Cheung(Ip's Final Fight/Rival)?

Netflix added this finally, these movies are dope. I'll check it out tonight.

You know it's 2016 when people are asking "Is Mike Tyson -- undisputed world heavyweight championship and holds the record as the youngest boxer to win the WBC, WBA and IBF heavyweight titles at 20 years, 4 months, and 22 days old; won his first 19 professional bouts by knockout, 12 of them in the first round; won the WBC title in 1986 after defeating Trevor Berbick by a TKO in the second round; added the WBA and IBF titles after defeating James Smith and Tony Tucker in 1987, making him the first heavyweight boxer to simultaneously hold the WBA, WBC and IBF titles, and the only heavyweight to successively unify them -- the best fighter in a movie?"

No. I'm sure it was the manlet Taiwanese actor.

I get that they're playing the weight class card, but he already fought a boxer in 2. They just wanted Tyson in this movie, don't see the need to think any deeper than that.

he also looked kinda gassed TBH

im thinking the other guy, the taxi driver was the best actual fighter. no wasted motions, just straight brutal

I didnt like the Tyson fight. It felt to gimmicky. Ip Man 3 overall was inferior to the first two but still pretty good.

TS is asking about the character, not the actor.

Wrestling banter's changed since I was a kid.

Every time I see these movie titles, I picture a nerdy intellectual property lawyer (in part because there is a local lawyer who calls himself the IP man)

There are legions of Wing Chun idiots out there who actually think this is realistic. Kung Fu people are hands down the worst variety of TMAers. I hope Mike got paid well for this garbage.
