I don’t think there was much difference between Francis in the first fight and the second. I mean, I’m sure he worked in his wrestling in the time between the two fights. But Stipe-Francis 2 went the way it did because mainly of Stipe’s decline (which was apparent throughout the Cormier fights), and not some massive improvements by Francis.
