Hot Take So Tom's vision is back to normal

remember when Tom got poked, one eye barely taking a finger, the other taking a full finger, but the other eye that didnt take the full finger experienced total blindness, after the round was done, after Tom viewed the replay of the incident and was bothered by the boos?

that was odd.

remember when the doctors report didnt even specify which eye?

that was odd.

remember when tom said that hes going to possibly need massive surgery, but was able to watch the most recent UFC and give his analysis?

that was odd.

remember when tom said he could watch a tv?

that was odd.

tom took his out, preserved his record, preserved his status, 100%.
I honestly don't know if Tom had to quit because he couldn't see or whether he just didn't like the way the fight was going. There was plenty of time so except for a knee jerk reaction, I'd have given him the benefit of the doubt. Then the cringe youtube videos started.. The only worse look now would be if he had his mommy make a youtube video and accuse fans of bullying her son.

Except no the medical report and every doctor in it said his eye didn't have any damage.

The report said the same thing that the case has always been: TOM SAYS he can't see, but WE DOCTORS CAN'T find anything wrong with his eyes.
I could literally quote the post you're quoting of mine which refutes your argument

Again, for the audience and those that aren't breathing consistently daily through their mouths whilst dragging their knuckles along the floor;

They didn't carry out extensive testing at the hospital Tom went to
Tom himself posted footage in which the doctors said no visible damage yet tom still says he can't see
He went back to the UK and and saw an eye specialist who carried out extensive testing, ct/imaging and they confirmed the damage Tom said he had

All this aside, I think Tom is overrated, and the vast majority of heavyweights as of now are shite.

But you guys on here with this narrative, you don't actually believe it, you just want to be a heedless contrarian on the internet. fucking weirdos man

it doesnt pass the basic ass sniff test.

he completes the full remainder of the round. taking a fucking beating. looking like he just ate some period pussy.

and then it's ONLY when the doctors comes in, he suddenly can't see, claims blindness from the eye that didn't take the full finger.

he watches the replay and looks visibly disturbed that the crowd isn't on his side.

the whole thing is funky.

he was getting his ass whooped, realized he couldn't beat gane in the same time frame jones did, knew he had boxing aspirations, and he took the easy way out 100%.

him being able to watch TV now, is totally suspect.

you'd have to be a low life fucking retard loser to believe him at this point. or a redditor. or a reddit mod.

just cause your eyes are open doesn't mean you can see well. Fully blind people can open their eyelids just fine. Does it mean they can see?

You are incorrect pal. The UK doctors tested Tom and also found nothing wrong with his eyes.

All those tattoos are like a plot twist; turns out Aspinull is actually a massive a-hole.

Didn't Tom say he was unable to watch TV?

I'm the first to say I'm not a doctor or pretend I know medical stuff, but the eye shit can be something small and end up being a Bisping situation. That's the nature of MMA and the risk they take to step in the cage. It's one of those things we'll never know. I don't think even the more extreme foul, the more damage done, probably most damage is by legal shots.

Still think UFC needs to start treating these things like they did LHW division.... New champ out for awhile? Vacate and let the division move on, you get a titleshot on return.

Well time for UFC to say... "look what happened with Jiri or Hill, they couldn't defend in a timely manner, they got another titleshot once they returned". These damn HW fights are like lining up the planets and stars to get them to fight 2x a year like it's a miracle. It sucks it's from a foul, but the body breaks randomly and we've already seen Aspinall out for his knee injury before. This guy never won a title, out of his hands of course, but still it's not like Islam or Jones where he's some legendary champ that deserves leeway.
What's that? You're saying that we can't make a precise diagnosis from Sherdog gossip and some YouTube videos? I'm going to have to re-assess my entire view of reality.

The UFC didn't decide to vacate/strip the title at LHW, though - the champs opted to do that, both times, on their own, when the prognosis was to be out for a long time.

So true about this forum sometimes, everyone gets dug into the corner they chose. Actually I think whenever there is fighter/ufc talks, it's always he said she said games that fuels this. Fans really don't know why things happen, then there's some NDA between UFC and fighters, and then we're stuck speculating what is really happen by reading between the lines.

My favourite part have to be Tom wearing sun glasses outside in cloudy England as though literally everybody doesn't know that's drug language so nobody sees his eyes in public.

Embarassing as fuck. Should just STFU and said he'll rematch in Nov/Dec/Jan whenver made sense instead of pretending he can't see and pretending he doesn't simply need more time to beat Gane.

Do you guys think that Tom is wearing glasses because he actually needs them or perhaps to keep the narrative going that his eyes are still compromised?

Like he had no problem watching tv for UFC 323 without glasses.

Now every time he makes a video, he needs to have the glasses on. Almost like he saw what people were saying about him on the first video and had to do damage control.
