Not so much brandish as pistol whip.Kick a dude in the dick, audience laughs.
Brandish a gun in a strip club, audience horrified.
Pena was charged with simple assault, a misdemeanor. Brandao was charged with aggravated battery, a felony. Not the same thing, but good try TS.for \(Assault) brandao got released right away, pena got nothing and booked in UFC 200, how is this fair?
Maybe your right. But i doubt anyone who pistol whips anyone while under contract with the UFC wouldnt get dismissed.
But there is a point you have. If brando kicked someone in the nuts he would be gone neway.
The thing that bugs me about this is the simple double standard rule.
Ive said it for a long time. I believe in equality for women.
But dont scream "Give me equality but give me a break".
Which is the standard for women now.
Nope, if u release brandao, which is fair.. release pena too. i don't think she will get released if she did same thing brandao did anyways. so yea
For sure. There was a huge uproar over Anthony Johnson tossing a woman's mat across the room. I can't imagine the backlash if he had actually physically assaulted someone, as Pena did.
Could not agree more. Now that he got dusted hope they send East packing. Was a horrible signing in the first place, never would have got his opportunity if he wasn't a HW.These guy's need a fucking union so bad. What about That Cody East, child abuser getting a contract, but they released Miguel Torres over a rape joke retweet. They also released Will Chope over some passed abuse history involving his wife, who later defended him. At least be consistent.
You can get assault with a deadly weapon for hitting someone with a baseball bat, nunchucks, and probably even a rock.Since Brandao pistol whipped someone, does it make it assault with a firearm/deadly weapon?
Even though he never shot it?
Black on black(?) crime always gets a harsher punishment...Why did they ban Daley for life, but did nothing at all to Claudia Gadelha after she hit out a JJ after their fight?
Presumably the answer is because the public don't perceive the female fighters as legitimate threats; so if they're not damaging the UFC public image then why damage the UFC bottom line for the sake of consistency.
wow, there are a lot of women haters in here.
Who hurt you guys?
