So Mcgregor blue balled Chandler?

The UFC should throw Chandler a bone & sign Eddie for their trilogy. Easy payday.

Assuming that doesn't happen, Paddy & Colby are the biggest available names. Poirier, Gaethje, & Do Bronx are available too but have already beat Mike. Maybe Volk would take a fun fight at 155 vs Mike?

I think Chandler vs Paddy makes a ton of sense for MSG or Vegas.
Eddie a great guy, I like this

Chandler knew the game has playing, he knew it was long odds for a big payout and he lost the bet. It's not like he wasn't aware that this was a likely outcome given how many times Connie honeydicked him over the years and how downright unreliable Mgregs has become. We got screwed out of half of his very short UFC career too. Would've been nice to see him finish up his career with a few more bangers but w/e, he was obviously prepared to walk off into the sunset either way. I'm not shedding any tears for inactive fighters. These guys build up their profile then vanish. Way too much of this these days.

Not sure that it's necessary to describe it using a weird sexual metaphor

I don’t think Chandler would put himself in a position to face possible criminal charges by hitting Conor outside of the cage. He seems much smarter than that.

Yeah, I think it’s lame as fuck that clowns in here laugh at Chandler for making an easy choice. But nobody in here would ever put themselves in Chandler’s shoes if the payoff was going to be millions of dollars, right? That’s the bullshit they expect you to believe. Myself, I’m not nearly stupid enough to pretend at least 99.9% of Sherdog wouldn’t do everything Chandler did for that possible payday.

But it’s always cooler to shit on the good guy in the equation. Instead the true lowlife in this situation. I don’t know if Conor ever fights in the UFC again. But if he does, who knows what contracts may actually exist between these guys? Conor may or may not legally have a choice. I don’t know the complete story.
They act like Conor is cool somehow to waste everyones time like that.

What comes around goes around though, and Chandler wasn't the only one getting honeydicked.

Conor strung the UFC all along too, and I don't think Dana is so stupid that he can't see the writing on the wall. Conor has two fights on his contract, and there is no way he's going to re-sign. If Conor did buy into the BKFC as he claims (I believe he did buy in to some degree), I just don't see him returning to the UFC to line Dana's pockets when he could fight (a style more suited to him at this point) and line his own pockets.

Had the Chandler fight went through with a decent turnaround to fight Max, Conor could have been a free agent as early as the new year. I think Dana (being Dana) gives Conor the rematch against Holloway and then waits him out for the final fight on his deal, or at least until Conor's gone fully off the rails and sabotaged himself first.

Would Metallica still be good if Cliff hadnt died? Could he have stopped Metallica from going soft and lame later on?

Or would he have just stuck with the gravy train and made the money?

I mean the fight was literally like 3 weeks away before conman pulled out due to his pinky toe (yeah right). I'm guessing Dana is pissed about the press conference being canceled last minute, and having to reshuffle the PPV card on short notice. So, he's holding it against conman, and Chandler is caught in the crossfire. They had plenty of chances to reschedule the fight, and yet they never did, and now Dana is saying he won't fight this year. Reeks of Dana's pettiness. It could also be a case of "fool me once, shame on me. Fool me twice, shame on you". Basically, he doesn't trust him.

I wonder if Chandler got any financial compensation out of this mess.

Poor guy's gonna end up hating Conrat more than Khabib and Dustin/Jolie at this point if he didn't even get at least 250k for the TUF show.

There's no reason to feel bad for Chandler. He rolled the dice and it hasn't worked out. He made his own bed on this one. Many of us predicted this from the outset.

Dana got blue balled. Built a whole TUF show for this one fight, and it was Cokehead McSnorter who kept stringing everyone along. But we all knew Cokehead wasn't about it when they squared up and Chandler saw the shookness in Cokehead's eyes.

well if it was intentional, it's one way to end chandlers career. keep sayin he'll fight him and never do it til he's too old to fight anymore

Last year, I felt bad for thinking there's no way a guy that coked out of his mind will make it to another fight. And now, well, here we are.

So Conor gave Chandler a boner ?
