NBA So LeBron is the second greatest player ever...right?

The context is in this reality, no amount of wishing it away changes the context of what conference was stronger when.

He better have more than one really good stretch if he calls himself the GOAT.
no its not, its in some make believe world you're trying to conjure to reject LeBrons greatnesst. He's the GOAT, simple as. Deal with it.

According to a bunch of numbers and taking into consideration LeBron played longer, yeah, saying LeBron is the second best NBAer appears realistic.

Both on any all time team obviously, toss in Jabbar, Curry to shoot the three, Magic to run the show.

A Goat does not miss the playoffs when he moves conferences.

6 rings, stronger conference, what happened before or after does not change that.
Scottie Pippen also has 6 rings and Jordan couldn't wins hit before Scottie came and saved his bum ringless career.

There is no universe in which Jordan stays as healthy as he was and is a bum by basketball standards in any league.

LeBron was ringless in the bloody Eastern conference before going to Miami...

There was a decent chance he would have stayed ringless for 15 years or more if drafted onto a mid or bad Western Conference team.

Hgh wad and bish couldn't save lebron from jj barrea

Any objective and intelligent person watching this era completely understands that it's absolute dogshit.

I watched a few sequences of the Lakers/Knicks game last night and fell off the couch in disbelief. Literally looked like squads of tomato cans falling all over the place, barely controlling the ball, putting up bricks from everywhere. Some of the most embarrassing sequences of play I've ever seen in the NBA....and it was steady, not isolated. I honestly couldn't believe what I was watching.

After some homework....

Jordan without a doubt number one so yes LeBron at number two, really not debatable.
Lebron had to chase championships with teams trying to make all-star squads.....and still only managed 4.

It's very debatable where he places all-time, and it's certainly not at the #2. He's not fit to sniff the jockstrap of Larry Bird or Lou Alcindor.

Just one of many all saying the same thing more or less.

To highlight the greatest NBA basketball players in history, consider this list:

  1. Michael Jordan - Six-time champion and five-time MVP, known for his scoring ability and competitiveness.
  2. LeBron James - Four-time champion and MVP, celebrated for his versatility and basketball IQ.
  3. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar - All-time leading scorer with six championships and six MVPs, famous for his skyhook shot.
  4. Bill Russell - Eleven-time champion, renowned for his defensive prowess and leadership.
  5. Magic Johnson - Five-time champion and three-time MVP, known for revolutionizing the point guard position.
  6. Larry Bird - Three-time champion and MVP, recognized for his shooting and basketball intelligence.
  7. Kobe Bryant - Five-time champion and 18-time All-Star, celebrated for his scoring and work ethic.
  8. Shaquille O'Neal - Four-time champion and dominant center, known for his size and athleticism.
  9. Tim Duncan - Five-time champion and two-time MVP, praised for his fundamentals and consistency.
There are more all having LeBron right behind Jordan, so show me something that has Bird and Jabbar ahead of LeBron, doubt that can be done.

You want more I have more, yep......LeBron at 2.

Anybody who knows the game knows LeCan is not the 2nd best basketball player of all-time. Had to chase teams trying to put all-star squads together. Still only has 4. Nobody else in your list did this....you know why?

One of the biggest defensive liabilities of anybody you've noted too.

He's a one trick pony with some longevity. History will look past James in most all-time discussions.

They just keep coming, find anything where LeBron isn't number two like he is here.

I have a TON of similiar lists from a multitude of different sources all with LeBron at number two, ah.............................why?

Need more, I have a truck load.

They have to put him there, he's been the face of the league for the last 20 years. But contextually, he doesn't hold a candle to most of the others you'll see on almost all Top 10 lists.

Call it recency bias. You're a geriatric, you should understand this better than anybody.
