According to a bunch of numbers and taking into consideration LeBron played longer, yeah, saying LeBron is the second best NBAer appears realistic.

Both on any all time team obviously, toss in Jabbar, Curry to shoot the three, Magic to run the show.

There is no universe in which Jordan stays as healthy as he was and is a bum by basketball standards in any league.

LeBron was ringless in the bloody Eastern conference before going to Miami...

There was a decent chance he would have stayed ringless for 15 years or more if drafted onto a mid or bad Western Conference team.

I watched a few sequences of the Lakers/Knicks game last night and fell off the couch in disbelief. Literally looked like squads of tomato cans falling all over the place, barely controlling the ball, putting up bricks from everywhere. Some of the most embarrassing sequences of play I've ever seen in the NBA....and it was steady, not isolated. I honestly couldn't believe what I was watching.

Lebron had to chase championships with teams trying to make all-star squads.....and still only managed 4.

It's very debatable where he places all-time, and it's certainly not at the #2. He's not fit to sniff the jockstrap of Larry Bird or Lou Alcindor.

Anybody who knows the game knows LeCan is not the 2nd best basketball player of all-time. Had to chase teams trying to put all-star squads together. Still only has 4. Nobody else in your list did this....you know why?

One of the biggest defensive liabilities of anybody you've noted too.

He's a one trick pony with some longevity. History will look past James in most all-time discussions.

They have to put him there, he's been the face of the league for the last 20 years. But contextually, he doesn't hold a candle to most of the others you'll see on almost all Top 10 lists.

Call it recency bias. You're a geriatric, you should understand this better than anybody.
