NBA So LeBron is the second greatest player ever...right?

Like i said, Lebron as memorable to the public as a Marc Gasol or a Blake Griffin to the public not even close to how famous he is if he starts his career on a bad team out West.
That was the topic of discussion...

The 2000s mavericks speed run the 90s NBA? Why?
Hilarious ease? Like the best nba team beating dision 1 college team? Are you kidding?
LeBron was touted as the GOAT when he was in fucking high school

Did you just completely miss ESPN showing his games?

So fucking what. Him being shown as a mortal in the western conference would make people forget that real quick.

You do realize he was already mega popular and beat the best defense the league had ever seen scoring the final 25 points or whatever against the pistons on his way to the finals right?

You're delusional if you think otherwise. It's that simple. LeBron was an All Pro every year since his SECOND YEAR in the league.

As a high school kid, people forgot about that quick.

Beating the best team once does not mean that much in the West most of his career he would be less talked about not being the top seed with his team or in some cases not even top 6. He could win a championship maybe 2 but it would not surprise me completely if he would not in the Western Conference.

Could say the same about Jordan, except Jordan didnt win shit for his first 6 years lmao

Once LeBron got a better team he won a championship. Before that he made the playoffs, beat great teams, and made the finals

MJ couldn't even do that. It took a superteam and everyone else dying of aids or ending their careers laying bricks for him to even have a shot lol

The Hebron is the best for his size.

There still isn't a player in the league now that could've guarded Jordan. Hell there there isn't a player in the league that could have guarded Iverson... Another one of those shitty 90s players that still torched the league throughout the 2000s

Jordan had 6 rings in the better conference with a baseball break.

In the East, not in the mean West. Those playoff teams were not comparable to the murderers row out West.

Please list all the people leaving because of aids...

Yeah i am sure a competitor like Bird left so he can succeed.<lmao>

Bird got injured

Magic got AIDS

both teams fell apart after

Not really up for debate lmao

And there were players stepping up to take their place. Jordan was not lucky he had to fight for every win in the stringer conference.

he couldnt get out of the first round <LikeReally5>

LeBron teams were objectively worse than than Jordans at every point in their careers except the end.

Anybody advocating that the modern NBA is a good game at all, let alone in comparison to what is was 30 years ago....isn't thinking.

These people have demonstrated many times that they have zero clue what they're talking about. League defense is at an all-time low. The majority of today's "talent" is just the league turning into the Harlem Globetrotters.

The '92 All-Star game had a higher compete level than today's NBA Finals. Everyone just wants to "get their bag" and coast at 40%.

I could head out to the courts right now and find a more intense game than this shit.

Generational skill.

My man's been watching tape.

That would have happened to the holy Bron also if drafted out West. Only nowhere near close to 6 rings.

Worse in terms of talent?

Its actually harder to play defense in todays league. Guys can dribble with both hands and shoot the basketball. It isn't singular crossover and drive beating guys who couldn't defend a middle schooler. Jordan's era is closer to the WNBA than it is to todays NBA
Oh come on man, MJ was 10 points a game better than James Harden all day long. If Harden could put up 36 MJ is easily at 46 a game with these rules.

No, he couldn't. Guys in the league then were bigger, faster, stronger, and smarter. MJ's mid range game would be just as good in the post season but in the regular season he'd be an inefficient chucker. He's not Kevin Durant. He's a volume chucker
