As a well known Jon Coke Jones realist it depends on how it happens.
- Freak injury like Blaydes1? Meaningless
- Quick sub like Gane? He at least has 1 solid win at HW. If anything it would show how far HW has fallen from the golden years.
- Back n forth battle with Jon as a clear winner? It proves there is nothing for him even at HW. Proves he should've moved up when HW was stacked.
- Controversial decision win for Jon? Reemphasizes that the UFC will do anything in order to manufacture their anointed "GOAT". It would also cement that the UFC and its belts are frauds

In fact, that's what I hate most about him, is that he likely doesn't even need to cheat, yet he still does it.
