Nice score, great album that1996 pressing, in shrink wrap still. Pretty rare pressing. Not as rare as the original 1993 clear or gray pressing though.

Vintage vinyl > New vinylI was buying hella vinyl for the last 5 years or so
But I quit this year as the prices have gotten insane
And so many of the new reissues are pressed like shit or warped
And everything is some goofy colored vinyl now
I have a nice DJ setup, but might sell one table and my rane mixer, just keep a single table to listen to stuff
I like 45’s the best and 12” singles
I actually just looked this up on Discogs. Is this just the black one? Or is it colored? The black version is selling for like $70 is VG+ condition. Same with the pink marbled.I have a bunch of 45's around here somewhere. I used to pick them up all the time when I worked at a record store. This is the single for Tristessa. B-side is La Dolly Vita

I like that green tbh. Also just bought this. I found a first pressing of this a while back but decided I didn't want to pay $120 for it
This is a good sounded copy for being a Walmart exclusive

One of my favorites. Jealous.Holy grail acquired!
1993 purple marbled pressing. Only a few thousand copies of this exist. There's also pink and orange marbled versions that only have a few thousand copies each
The jacket is kind of beat but the records are clean as can be.

I started collecting vinyl again about 5 or 6 years ago but stopped. I realized I rarely ever use my record player even though I gave it a prominent spot in the living room and it's hooked up to a thousand dollar soundbar. Also, a lot of artists and labels I enjoy began re-releasing their catalog in various colored vinyl and other gimmicks to make a quick buck and it got annoying to see how much was flooding the market. Then some more indie type groups I bought vinyl from the record and packaging was super low quality.and now I'm balls deep. Talk about finding a good vein to start mainlining again.
I'm in worse than I was the first time from 20 years ago. I only had a handful of records and for a while didn't even have a record player to listen to them on.
I'll probably post pics later... but now I'm buying limited edition pressings, rare pressings, mono pressings, first pressings etc. I've definitely gone overboard on the collecting aspect as much as the listening aspect.
What are some of your best vinyl pressings? How big is your collection?
Yeah I try to avoid the repressings if possible, unless the original is super expensive. Although clearly that doesn't stop me after dropping $300 on that smashing pumpkins 93 pressing lol.I started collecting vinyl again about 5 or 6 years ago but stopped. Nice purchase, buddy. Lots of cool songs. Here's a couple of my recent purchases.
