I try and split my conditioning up as well. I usually condition in the morning. I am usually at the thai box gym for about 2 hours without the conditioning. I still lift but thanks to the sherdoggies I am doing a lot of olympic stuff/power lifting stuff instead of the old BB routine. do a 5x5 cleans in the morning then see how you your legs feel at the boxing.
I like to crossfit but have incorporated a regular warm up that is fairly intense to make sure I am working all muslce groups more regularly.
500m row
400m run
30 body squats
Then a variation of
15 pullups/pushups/squats for 3 rounds
or something like that
Then The Wod
For a straight boxer though I would do this like twice a week and then run the other days. Like somebody said you will never get to the end of a boxing match and say "Damn If I could only bench another xyz# I would have had him!"
