His was a glib comment intended to mock and deflect, but you seized on my comment, which points that out, rather than on his, which was the first cause.

You guys don't have an argument to defend this hypocritical, discriminatory attitude, but you appear to passively support it. Find an argument, or be "demeaned" for not having the courtesy to be quiet in the absence of one.
