Well answered.
Damn, I thought for sure you were going to hit me with the, "No double standards are okay," response.
Well answered.
Hahaha, you know I wanted to, but you gave some persuasive examples of reasonable double standards. Not sure what the running tally is, but for today Nac 1 - Inga 0, lol.Damn, I thought for sure you were going to hit me with the, "No double standards are okay," response.
That flag is either a symbol of secession or slavery.
I think you're confused what "straight" means.
Except that you aren't "joking". Indeed, you are confused.
Actually, it is. It highlights a vapid counterargument. That in itself is a counterargument.Neither is this
I was joking, could care less if you think I was or wasn't.Except that you aren't "joking". Indeed, you are confused.

This, on the other hand, is more empty whinging.
You don't see it like that because you were never part of the persecuted group.
Many people are still killed for being gay or trans. These people have struggled for basic human rights throughout history and to imply that straight people need a flag or day of recognition is just insulting.
Flying a straight pride flag is similar to flying a white pride flag. The only thing it does is antagonize.
Because making a flag for straight people sounds kind of gay.
I mean who thinks I am so straight I need my own flag?
Sounds more like someone with conflicted feelings trying to prove to himself that he is in fact straight.
omg...
"how come they can do/have it but we can't???!!!"...
you fuckin' crybabies I swear... lol
Because straight people are the overwhelming majority, have been in power, are in power and have never been suppressed. This happened in a small Canadian village
They put up a Pride Flag first and later on put up a flag to represent straight people.
And people went crazy and it had to get taken town. What's the problem? They get a flag and we get a flag? Why are they anti our flag and get mad when people are anti their flag ???

I want to talk about this one

Okay. I fail to see the humor, clearly.I was joking, could care less if you think I was or wasn't.
I just find our world so confusing
You can wear a pride flag and that's fine
But you put up something celebrating straight pride and it's not fine?
you can have straight pride without being against gay pride and vice versa
This is so fucked
We should all get "Straight Pride" tattoos of a big-huge object to impress upon others how straight we are to everyone.
It should point upwards of course, have a broad dome to inspire greatness again, a long and strong rigid body to make our enemies cry, and be buttressed by two supportive spheres that will never yield their potency to anyone. A monument to our power!
Here is an artists rendition:
