Media So Francis is going to HW boxing

If he has a dominant 3 years as UFC champ he could likely parlay it into a big pay day ....but he won’t be competitive against a top guy his technical skills are awful

No, I don't even like Wilder, he ducked AJ who would knock his ass out. What does that have to do with you comparing Wilders technique to big franks?
Guarantee if that fight gets made Wilder would not out class Francis, beat him sure but it wont be some mismatch by any means feel free to save this post somewhere and flame me to dust other wise

You’re out of your mind ....levels .....If Francis was competitive against Wilder he’d be competing in Boxing ....duh

Besides good/bad technique as well I would say his style is obviously better suited to MMA, those big looping punchs would be much easier to block with a high guard in boxing.

Just listen to his interview with Helwani release couple hours ago

He is 34 ,want to retire at 40.
He's real dream is to become a boxer and will do it no matter what.
He says something about 3 years is a LOT in MMA so I believe he is only doing MMA for 3 years more then he will transition to boxing.

Good luck Franciscus fighting this guy

He's in big trouble then. Hands in MMA are not the same as hands in pure stand-up, and especially not in boxing which is hands only.

Best of luck to him.
True. A punch to the face from someone like Francis is a punch to the face from someone like Francis, tho

Any boxing HW in the top 300 would have the easiest fight of their career against Ngannou. If he turned up to spar any of them they would send him out of the gym for not giving good enough practice.

However Ngannou is a potential all time great in MMA, stay there and he will, he will never make the switch

Relax you can't even name a HW outside of top 10. HW boxing outside top 10 is bad and Ngannou can starch a LOT of guys. Maldonado was top 100 I believe lol

I'm very relaxed and so will ngannou be if he fought anyone in the top 300. Ngannou will be relaxed, chilled, cool, in fact he will be knocked out cold and will have a beautiful night's sleep

Which is why the fight won't happen, it will be hard finding enough prefessional guys who he can beat up in sparring, in order for him to complete a camp, he just doesn't have the skills

Let him stay in MMA and clean up

“Let me tell you something about Ngannou — he can box at a high level. ... Ngannou was standing in a weird stance. Then just stood upright and started throwing huge bombs at Joe’s head! It took Joe a round to work him out. Ngannou and Joe went eight rounds of holding their feet. It was the most entertaining spar I’ve ever seen Joe in. The hairs on the back of the neck stood up.” Joy Joyce coach.

But you know better than him right ?

If it means he can get paid a ton more power to him. As long as he gives us the Jones fight and a few more MMA fights I'll ve a happy fan.

Dude deserves to get PAID.

Sidenote: kudos to him for maybe wanting to go to school. That's a very smart man right there. It's impressive how better his English has gotten in a short amount of time..

Ngannou's is a natural. Obviously he wouldn't beat the very top guys like Fury, Joshua or Wilder but I bet he'd do very well against good HW's with the right amount of training.

Especially at HW where KO power can Trump a lot of things and Francis has that.

People who don't understand striking/boxing don't realize how great Ngannou's punch placement and IQ.

He has knocked a lot of guys out with different punches. He is not a Dan Henderson with only an Overhand right. He has very diverse striking and very good timing. Only guys that train in striking will understand what I'm saying.

Having said all that he is still very behind in terms of in gym hours boxing only so he will never be able to beat the very best

Judging from Wilder’s past performances, I think it will be a mismatch. What do you see in Ngannou that will pose a problem for Wilder?

Ngannou’s forms are quite good but he’s a very predictable striker. Also, I don’t think his hands are as quick as some of the elites.

Take what I say with a grain of salt, since I don't follow boxing all that much. But from what I saw in Fury vs Wilder 2, I'd give Ngannou as good a chance as any against either of them.

<Fedor23>
He get kod first round by any of them
