Media So Francis is going to HW boxing

Ngannou may as well turn pro right now. He hasn't been any hotter as a property.

UFC will not pony up money for a fight with Jones and there is nothing else happening at heavyweight short of a Cormier comeback.

It doesn't matter if Ngannou wins in boxing, as long as the the massive paydays offsetting the beatings and losses he will take. He may only be able to fight once in boxing and both he and the fans have their fill, which will probably be more than three years of fighting in the UFC. Get paid now.
I think UFC champ contract has a close for defending at least one or more time.
Gsp in MW has a defend close and Dana was pissed a lot when he vanished

Then why didn't he went to boxing from the get go? Afraid he would not make it to the top there? Smh... this makes MMA such a second grade sport. Everyone that reaches the top is a reject from some other sport. From olympic rejects, to NFL/MLB rejects to now a dude that wanted to be a boxer but didn't have the balls to go to that sport directly.

Boxing is so boring, I can't watch it. MMA has spoiled me. I can't watch them "hug and wait" for the referee everytime they get too close. Also each fight is 10/12 rounds and the finish ratio is way lower than in MMA so you end up watching less than half the fights that you watch in MMA.

He may try, but I think he would more likely go for "money fights" when he's developed a bigger name for himself. He's got the style to become a big star in MMA, and that can carry him into a money fight with some older HW boxer.

I hope he doesn't try to go for a real title. Ngannou is an excellent MMA fighter and the best HW in the world. But just like the top boxers wouldn't do well in MMA, the top MMA fighters wouldn't do well in boxing.

He needs to get in with some legit boxers in hard sparring to dissuade him from this.
He already did with Joyce and did well according to people in there (legit boxing coaches)
Édit : he train regularly with Carlos Takham (top20) HW boxer from Cameron ,and he did an exhibition fight with him back in the day in France

Boxing money lives inside MMA's head rent free. Pass some legislation to share revenue like Boxing does and be done with this (RR) nonsense.

Take what I say with a grain of salt, since I don't follow boxing all that much. But from what I saw in Fury vs Wilder 2, I'd give Ngannou as good a chance as any against either of them.

Nah. <Deported1>

Hmmm sucks he doesn't love mma as he does boxing. He will lose his next fight against Derrick Lewis just watched the movie Kong Vs Godzilla

Damn, Godzilla keeps his hands so low.

People are too critical of Francis. I think he has a better chance be successful in boxing than Conor.

Francis would get battered by the top boxers in HW. Hell do you think he has the cardio to outwork Fury or Joshua for 12 rounds?
I think not right now, but USADA is not in boxing so who knows

He's made big improvements in his MMA game. Hope he sticks with that. He got a late start on it as it is.

He’d knock out cans but would get horribly exposed and ko’d by anyone half decent. Would be a fckin terrible move. Hope he sticks with MMA

Why doesn't he change his battery in his smoke detector I wonder? lol

He'd smash a lot of guys as long as you keep him away from the top dogs.

He wanted to go into boxing from the get go but his coach advised him it would be easier to make money and get fights in MMA.

Just listen to his interview with Helwani release couple hours ago

He is 34 ,want to retire at 40.
He's real dream is to become a boxer and will do it no matter what.
He says something about 3 years is a LOT in MMA so I believe he is only doing MMA for 3 years more then he will transition to boxing.

He's in for a rude awakening. His boxing is sloppy.

LMAO cool it will be hilarious to see him get absolutely destroyed or beat up some gas station clerk can (no offence to gas station employees ;))
