Media So Francis is going to HW boxing

Just like in mma, the heavier weight fighter are not as skillful as the lower weight fighters. Francis has a better chance than sherdorks are giving him credit for.

Boxing elitists as usual overhyping the gap in boxing skill between pro-boxers and other combat sports athletes. If Deontay “tripping over my feet” Wilder can windmill himself to a belt, Ngannou with his physicality, power, and chin, can definitely make some waves in the HW division.

Ngannou may as well turn pro right now. He hasn't been any hotter as a property.

UFC will not pony up money for a fight with Jones and there is nothing else happening at heavyweight short of a Cormier comeback.

It doesn't matter if Ngannou wins in boxing, as long as the the massive paydays offsetting the beatings and losses he will take. He may only be able to fight once in boxing and both he and the fans have their fill, which will probably be more than three years of fighting in the UFC. Get paid now.

He needs to get in with some legit boxers in hard sparring to dissuade him from this.

If he keeps working relentlessly on his grappling and TDD and those legkicks, I think he can beat Joshua and Fury

Lmfao if he hires Teddy Atlas, who is desperate to get his name back into the spotlight, he will go nowhere. Nobody serious about a boxing career would ever hire atlas

ngannou nuthuggers will commit Seppuku when they see him get KTFO'd in the 1st by this guy...

But he doesn't have big dreamy muscles!!!???

francis i dont think has the discipline and technique to be world class at boxing but maybe i am wrong i think he would wing shit around and get beat by guys like tyson fury easy.
I mean even if he became really good he would most likely get beat by the hw champ Tyson Fury.

Take what I say with a grain of salt, since I don't follow boxing all that much. But from what I saw in Fury vs Wilder 2, I'd give Ngannou as good a chance as any against either of them.

Yeah, you have no idea what you're talking about :D

He'd look like he'd never laced up a pair of gloves against either of them, especially Fury who has almost every trick of the trade.

Watching Teddy teach Ngannou how to throw a proper left hook with required snap and torque made you realise quite how basic Ngannou's boxing is.

He's successful in MMA, because of how rudimentary the boxing is, and in particular how bad MMA fighter's chins and defence are. They are so, so hittable compared to elite boxers, that's one of the biggest differences.

Hmmm...

I got a lot of chit the other day when I started a thread saying he should ONLY fight Wilder or Mike Tyson next and stay far, far away from Dana/UFC.

GET DAT MONEY PLAYBOY!

Here is one of the best boxers in MMA fighting a 40 year old retired elite boxer, who took him about as seriously as sparring one of his daughters, and started his career at 130 pounds.

lol

54 year old Mike Tyson would absolutely BRUTALIZE Ngannou in a boxing match if the fight were made today.

Love how the guy whos arguably the boxing GOAT has been reduced to a “40 year old retired elite boxer”.
Not to mention that Mayweather should have ended that fight in the first if the skillgap is supposedly so gigantic.

My point stands, if Wilder can do what he did Ngannou can def at least be interesting.

Worst plan I've ever heard, he seems to have a hard time controlling his ego.

If he said bare knuckle boxing it would be a lot more realistic, even if it was against an elite boxer I think he could do well in that scenario.
