He is 34 ,want to retire at 40.
He's real dream is to become a boxer and will do it no matter what.
He says something about 3 years is a LOT in MMA so I believe he is only doing MMA for 3 years more then he will transition to boxing.

He's in big trouble then. Hands in MMA are not the same as hands in pure stand-up, and especially not in boxing which is hands only.

Take what I say with a grain of salt, since I don't follow boxing all that much. But from what I saw in Fury vs Wilder 2, I'd give Ngannou as good a chance as any against either of them.

If he could get any decent boxing match he’d make more money than he does now. But, that’s different sport and I don’t know how far brute power would get him. Unless he fights Jones or runs off a string of brutal KO defences. His star may never rise much higher though. If he’s ever given a shot, he should probably try it.

Yea, at first I thought, maybe he could do it.
But then when I heard it would be 3 years down the road, that changes things a lot.

francis should realize his power and punches wont translate the same to boxing. maybe he can fight like wilder and just wing shit and win. one thing these mma fighters miss is if you put 10000 hours into mma striking this will do shit for your boxing and if anything will have created tons of permanent bad habits. they are not the same and the boxing mma cross overs are dumb. boxing especially where its all punches to the head. askren will have like 2 weeks of boxing while jake has 1000's of hours whats the point. jake also has way more money to be on way more shit then ben. jake can do epo and bens game plan is foiled.
 
Hmmm sucks he doesn't love mma as he does boxing. He will lose his next fight against Derrick Lewis just watched the movie Kong Vs Godzilla

He isnt 140 lb conor mcgregor dude.
 
He’s got that eraser as Teddy atlas says, so he could make some noise in boxing. He could definitely make more money than his slave wage UFC contract in boxing. I’m not sure how many fights are left on his contract but I wouldn’t renegotiate if I were him. Fight out your contract and if you’re still champ when it ends, wait out the one year champions clause period and move on to boxing.
