Was it Wadtucket? If so, yes, i think its a bot. And by bot i mean an idiot that pretends to be a bot. During the like rush of 2015 Wadtucket liked atleast 1,000 of my posts in one day. It was pathetic and impressive at the same time.

If you log into a PC does the same thing happen, or only on smartphone? If "yes" try logging in with Linux or an old PC (pre-2010) with an Ethernet cable, does it still happen?

If you look at the profile of the people who liked your posts, do they seem like "legit people" that are similar to you in some way?

As often as old threads get brought back, people are probably clicking "similar" threads by accident and not realizing they're old. Scroll to the bottom of a thread for example and there's normally a few with similar keywords. I'm not sure I've seen that since the board was updated/the whole 2FA thing though...
