They already headlined over Holly vs Meisha. Now, they are headlining over Edgar vs Aldo for the interim title.

What if they throw GSP vs Lawler on there? Does Conor still headline?

Yup. Conor headlines any card until he loses 3-4 in a row.

They headlined over Holly vs Tate too. Conor and Diaz are the ones pulling the most ppl

Yeah but that was a late notice fight, it was suppose to be RDA and Conor for the LW title.

If UFC don't out Conor as the main event they won't be able to market this event to the fullest.

Because Conor vs Nate is of more note.

Don't you guys think this diminishes the value of their titles though?

It would be wrong to have them main if GSP and R Lawlor are in it for the WW title

It's a good thing for diaz fans as well. There was some concern the ufc would make a co-main 3 rounder to try and give conor a chance at winning a decision

Best case scenario:

Nate smokes Conor again
Edgar beats Aldo
Conor is forced to defend his belt against Edgar

Thats 3 losses in a row, hopefully putting an end to this circus

This way they can make it a 5 round fight. I don't mind it.

Nope. That sets up a rematch with Aldo or Edgar or both, then Mendes.

Then if he loses all of those, we get the Duffy rematch. This thing only comes full circle if he loses that one.

Of course he does. He's the biggest star along with Ronda. It's a spectacle driven sport. The stars go on last
