So apparently Stipe doesn't have a weak chin and was able to wrestle Ngannou even in the 1st round

The hype train told me Stipe would be shrugged off since old man Reem "couldnt move" Ngannou even tho Reem isnt even a wrestler known for having a solid takedown game....

I was also told since Reem "almost knocked out Stipe" - that Stipe wouldn't be able to take a punch from Ngannou and would hit the deck in the 1st round.....

Fuck the hype train.

Another hype train bites the dust.

Stipe isn't a piece of fragile china like Arlovski and Overeem.

He's also a competent wrestler.

Poor Francis didn't stand a chance, no stamina, no wrestling... at this level ? In a 5 rounder against Stipe fucking Miocic ? He was thrown to the wolves.

lmao .. i can't believe the odds makers were sold on this guy like some of the pussies on this board

But...but...but...Overeem's toes were curled!

He didn't check his privilege by standing in the pocket like Luke Rocket.

I was on the hype train

<DCrying>

I’m 0-3 in Stipe fights. If he beats Cain, he’s the HW goat. Very tough dude.

There's always a hype train for every fighter getting a title shot. Is normal.

Enganoo sycophants going back to uporn and fap to dudes that look like him.

Stipe is smart just like Cain did to JDS

Odds aren't about who oddsmakers think will win, they're about oddsmakers trying to influence where the betting money flows in order to minimize the risks from the house.

i honestly wasnt expecting stipe to get him down in the 1st since i figured stipe woulda be pacing himself and wouldnt put everything into 1 takedown, once he got francis down in the first when theyre both fresh i was like "this shit is over unless francis gets a ko in the 2nd". their was no way francis was gonna stuff those takedowns in the title rounds.

hes got a helluva chin tho - but his tdd and strength took a big blow tonight

They knew the hypetrain behind Ngannou. They needed some money coming in on Stipe. I'm surprised the odds were so close to be honest. I bet it was a lot of experienced betters for Stipe and a lot of casuals for Ngannou.

the openning odds are set by the bookmakers , but then they switch based on the amounts they received on each fighters, so most of the time, the house cant lose no matters the result
