Taking the cost is down is wise but the product is also diminished from its best days.
The money felt appropriate when USADA hadn't purged the LHW and HW divisions, WMMA wasn't a thing, fighters were lining up to challenge and defend titles and there wasn't an event every other week.
The other problem is they're offering an affordable service to fans who are currently in the depths of streaming service fatigue. Most of the talk these days is how people are stepping away from their Disney+, Hulu, Netflix, Amazon Prime.
