Snowboarding without a lift ticket?

Easy solution, lose the slowboard, get some skis with touring bindings. You can skin up the hill, ski down, and you're not a slave to the lifts. You can go wherever you want and get fresh tracks.

I've seen people be pulled out of line and arrested for ski pass fraud....id rather just buy a lift ticket personally

But i don't understand your resentment.

They provide a service, you pay for it. If you genuinely can't afford it, don't go. That's how capatalism works, right?

Capitalism doesn't really seem to be working.

Mostly because people find ways not to pay for stuff.

$40 for snowboarding? That's a fucking deal. You really can't afford a measly $40?
At Whistler its $110.

Ever been broke man? Not saying he should get to go for free but sometimes 40$ is a good chunk of the rent money.

My Uncle Rick spent 68 days in County for Ski Pass fraud. That shit changed him.

I thought it would be a lot more than that. $40 bucks is pretty cheap. I'd pay that in a heart beat. You know how tired you'd be if you hiked up a mountain for 2 hours then take 5 minutes to get down? After that you'd be like fuck this, I'm not hiking again and pay the 40.

Buy a lift ticket. Hiking is stupid. You wont be able to hike very far since you're in the snow in high elevation while carrying gear.

In Alaska we have snowmobiles take us up a slope. I don't know where in California you'd be aloud to ride one however.

you must be really poor if you cant pay 40$

yes then get lost and have search parties out looking for your frozen half eaten ass.

And if you do survive getting stuck with the huge bill they're going to make you pay for the S & R

then maybe a new hobby is the proper way to spend your time

If you have your own equipment then a day of skiing/snowboarding is cheap. Bring your own food too. If you have to rent and buy food there then it can easily climb over $100.
