Small workouts on a rest day

My workout schedule is two days of work (kettlebell workouts are what I do), then a day of rest. Rinse and repeat.

Is it a good idea to do some exercises on rest days? If yes, what kinds? (e.g. pushups, situps, etc.)
 
Why would you choose to use kettlebells if you are looking to get bigger?

Mobility work, foam rolling, and a nice walk/bike ride should probably be the extent of anybody's rest day activities. If you feel like you can do more, channel that energy into progressing through your existing training regimen, or look for a better one.
