Phil Davis: small waist, only one clean KO by punches

I remember Muggsy Bogues and Spud Webb. LolWell, I'm not gonna comment on Wilder's waist size because I don't know how it measures up to other waists.
But the logic of your argument doesn't hold up because people like this exist:

7'6 Manute has a smaller waist than 5'3 Muggsy. Height isn't an indicator of waist size.
Well that, plus they only really throw arm punchesI feel like small waists ARE a reason why they can't generate as much KO power as others in their weight class. I feel people with larger waists usually means thicker core ie more muscle fibers in the abdomen and lower back which equals more punching power. Most punching power comes from the core.
Canelo has a big blocky wasteEven canelo has a bit smally waists and hits like a truck
There are a lot of factors in punching power but I tend to believe the most common factor for heavy hitters is arm size, overall weight of the arm.I feel like small waists ARE a reason why they can't generate as much KO power as others in their weight class.
