I used to babysit for a doctor who would not shovel his driveway in the winter. His reasoning, he didn't want to give people a reason for suing him. He felt if he cleared the drive way of snow and ice, and someone slipped on it and hurt themselves we would be a target for being sued. If the driveway was left to nature then he wouldn't be held responsible. My early life experience with our crazy court system.

Most of the problems in society are self-inflicted. The laws that make it easy to sue people for things that make no sense. The insurance company salivating at the idea of increasing your premium beyond reason, beyond what should even be legal. You installing AI Skynet in your store because that won't backfire ever. It's BS compounding into more BS.
