SKYSCRAPER Starring Dwayne Johnson (First Trailer Released)

Didn't he just do a earthquake skyscraper movie?? Perhaps it gave him the skyscraper fever and the only prescription is pushing the limits of skyscraper-related action.

14 Oscars at least. It's about The Rock saving his family, from terrorists and a fire... In a fucking SKYSCRAPER! It scrapes the mother-fucking sky it's so huge! If my dick were a building right now, and was high on the same amount of cocaine, viagra and amphetamines I am, it would be this skyscraper. And The Rock would be fighting it to save his family. The Rock vs My Dick, WINNER TAKES BALLS!!!! Let's fucking do it!

-the actual pitch of this script

Alright.
The Super bowl spot was bad. It made it look like the movie was literally about him climbing a skyscraper, and he is some sort of cyborg with a robotic leg.

After seeing the trailer, it looks better than i originally thought.
The metal leg is still stupid though. How does he run and jump on one damn leg? Why even write that into the script ?

I wish Rock would do more realistic, gritty action movies. His early stuff like The Rundown and Walking Tall were great. Now, he just does a bunch of kid movies, goofy movies, and cheap summer movies.
He needs to diversify his porfolio.
Wutang!

I watched it an hour ago, yeah sure it takes stuff from other films. But i really liked the movie. Plenty of movies do this anyway.

It was a good action movie that accomplished what it set out to do. Crazy unreal situations and blow shit up.

Awesome all around, i mean it's an action movie. 9/10.

Not sure if it was an homage to...

enter the dragon, during the mirrors scene, but i enjoyed it

Thanks to the movie theater for having the sound a bit extra louder for this. Becuse there were a few little turds crying every once in a while. Glad they were mostly drowned out.

Yeah, I watched it as well
It's not bad, kinda cheesy, but solid B action movie

I saw Sorry To Bother You. That was a weird retro movie.

Anyone seen it? It was this or Skyscraper. Skyscraper had bad reviews so I took a chance with Sorry... It was creepy.

Dude is just in it to be a celeb and rich, all his movies are shit because he doesn't give a fuck.

Fair play to him but he will be quickly forgotten soon I think

This movie is everything I expected and wanted out of a Dwayne Johnson disaster flick.

I mean he jumped off a crane into a building that was on fire, held up a suspension bridge that was shattered by holding the cables and was just everything we love about him all rolled into a single movie.

I tried watching ot a couple days ago, got about 30-40 minutes in and gave up
I expected it to be terrible but it was just way too boring and dumb for even me and I love SyFy movies
Its that bad!
Worse than a SyFy movie

I watched this twice actually lol. As soon as it came out, I streamed it online. Then a guy invited me out to watch it at the theatre.

God the rock is so fucking hot omg
