News Nate Diaz Charged W/ "Battery" Over Assault @ Nightclub In August

What's worst is getting pushed and slapped and NOT pressing charges.

You think is ok for Nate to push and slap someone and that person just accept it like he's a bitch. I'm not going to fight a professional fighter. But if a professional fighter puts hands on me you better believe I'm going to be the winner in the end. You're bank account will feel it.

Y'all out here sucking off celebrities..
Has nothing to do with celebrities. It's the principle.

Especially if you're a martial artist, boxer or whatever

Fights happen, it's been a part of life since the beginning of time. It's encoded into our DNA on a primordial level.

If I lawyered up for every little squabble, it would just be considered very dishonorable, especially over something so small and petty.

It just comes off as something a weak person would do.

"Squabbling" is weak, and there's no such thing as honor when another guy is pressing on you by intimating with violence and with enough aggression to put their hands on you.

I don't believe in provoking any sort of unnecessary conflict. I believe in the opposite, playing the peacemaker or person who can resolve conflict, especially in a tense, potentially physical situation.

At the same time, if a situation did occur and I was forced to defend myself or whatever the case may be, it's something that should be fully within my power to handle as a man.

The moment we start running to lawyers to press charges, I think it just showcases a very weak mentality, someone who lacks the strength to protect themselves and handle their own business.

I get the reasoning, but it would be considered dishonorable within a lot of
martial arts, boxing communities.

Imagine if you pressed charges in Hawaii after a random squabble. You'd lose all respect.

Amongst the tougher communities and tougher people, it would just be considered very weak and I agree, a man should be able to handle his own business without running for daddy.

Oh so Nate’s gonna be one of those prune headed geriatric dudes who still gets into street fights
….

I get it now 😂😂😂

At work, but man.. Conor now Nate..
Happened in August

-Video of Incident-:

What exactly happened here? If a bouncer says no, it means no right? Or did Nate think he's an A-lister now?

Hate to say it, but won't be surprised if it turns out Nate was being a bonehead here.

It just comes off as something a weak person would do.
Agreed.
In my experience, most of the people that can really hurt you don't really get bothered about you talking shit to them.
Now a lot of those same people start to get mad when you talk shit about people in their lives.

Nate stays picking fights with civilians, he had this shit coming. Hardly surprised.

Dude needs to grow the fuck up. Pro fight playing the bully with civilians in the street honestly feels pretty cowardly.

If Nate wasn't a 'celebrity' no charges would have been filed for that. The suing is getting outta hand.

It's a bit of a double edged sword because that's Nates brand and how he keeps himself relevant.

Some rough, west coast semi gangster who smokes weed and fights anyone.

So, when he knows cameras are going, you'll see like a contrived, forced version of that image.

After Conor, I think guys got into his ear and told him, this is what gets you views so keep doing it.

And it works.

In reality, I see Nate as being a lot more chill, hes never really been that guy..but when he got popular, you seen that personality dial up to 10.

On the surface, it looks like he needs to grow up, but in reality, he knows exactly what he's doing. It's a way to keep his name out there.

As advertised, as the rock put it.

And a professional fighter picking fights with randoms off the street is something a strong person does?
Nope. I see Nates actions as more of a circus and extension of an image he's trying to sell, which ultimately is what continues to make him money.

Was just speaking on my own personal experience and views.

Generally, I think martial artists tend to get involved in fights far less than the average person because of the presence they carry.

Respect and the overzealous coveting of it is how people end up dead or in prison. You have a brain, use it.

But it's not just in front of cameras, we've seen the same thing from him in situations where he didn't know he was being filmed, like when he slapped that guy drinking a beer at a fight and someone caught it on camera from 2 sections away.

You're basically saying it's OK for a professional fighter to be out in the streets picking fights with randoms because it's good for engagement.

Backwards ass world we're living in. If he knows exactly what he's doing but he's still doing it, that's an absolute sign of an immature brain.

Never said it was okay.

I just think it's a byproduct of this clout chasing culture that we live in.

Everyone is playing a character or wearing a mask to some degree at that level, especially when you've made it.

What makes Nate money and gets him views is selling this bad boy, weed smoking, fight anyone type of image. It's what got him to the dance.

It's definitely old, tired, he's 40 years old. At the same time, it's what keeps him in the news, continues to drive engagement which is ultimately how these guys make money and promote.

Backwards world indeed though.
