Skyrim Special Edition

Sony is allowing mods.
Judging by the way they're handling Fallout 4 mods, I wouldn't keep my hopes up. Sure, mods will be available but never with the latitude and freedom we have on PC. Even Xbox seem to be handling them pretty well, I hear very few complaints.

Sony is dropping the ball but I guess RPG players are not their favorite customers.

Ok.

He said they weren't when they are.

guys voice is incredibly annoying in that video
That's Youtube in a nutshell. Every guy's voice is incredibly annoying. Only acceptable voices are women with gigantic boobs!

No need to roast him for that, it's an understandable mistake. Sony was not supporting mods and they finally came to an agreement with Bethesda. Fallout 4 mods have just arrived on PS4 while we've been playing for months with tons of mods!

Stating a fact is not roasting anyone lol.

Get a grip.

Aside from a ridiculous $60 price tag, I just don't know if I can get excited to play it again after putting hundreds of hours already. I'll pick it up when it's $20 just to have.

I'm not sure how much more I'll play but I'll see if it looks better than the few graphical mods I used for Skyrim on PC. And also because of PC master Race I get it for free :p

Thankfully I never played the DLCs for Skyrim and it's been so long since I played it that I've forgotten most of it aside from the fact there was like zero ending and that I had fun with it anyway. Got so burned out on Fallout that I didn't even bother with any of the DLCs. Will probably burn through Skyrim until I'm sick of it, then I'll feel more like finishing up Fallout 4.

I play this on PC so ENB mods do graphically what the remaster is doing anyway. What i'm looking forward to is that potentially we'll have a more stable game and it will make better use of the PC's capabilities.

Bethesda just released their gameplay trailer #2. Enjoy!

PC Master Race reigns! I wouldn't buy it at full price but just like you, I get it for free!

I have tried a lot of environmental mods on Skyrim and most of them give a "cartoon paradise" atmosphere. Sure there are good ones but you must try them, compare them and tweak them.

The atmosphere I get from the preview is bleak and natural, exactly what I expect of Tamriel!

I'm looking forward to the remaster but this right here is ridiculous, €60 for it is too much, i've paid €40 for the Bioshock collection with all 3 games and DLC at launch. I'm going to wait until it goes on sale as well

I will not defend the price tag because it's really high for a remastered 2011 game.

But understand that Skyrim's following is strong and devoted. Many fans will buy this just because they buy everything Elder Scroll. I don't see why Bethesda should put it on discount when fans will jump at it on release date. Like I said earlier, the Special Edition is for fans of Skyrim and Elder Scroll Universe.

I doubt many people will say: "Special edition? I gotta try this game now, been waiting 5 years!"

my ps3 pooped out playing skyrim the first go round, and i never really got into on my pc. i might pick this up to try it out, i loved oblivion.

Don't care, how about instead add on mods to make this thing looks sweet so stupid console people can get excited, here is a crazy idea,
how about they fucking put that effort into maybe a new eldar scrolsl

I never played this on the previous gen console... So I'm buying this for sure when it comes out.

So as someone who has never played the original Skyrim, I'm going to assume this will be a great purchase for me? I need something new to play after getting burnt out on Mafia 3 pretty much straight away, But Watch Dogs 2 is just around the corner too.
