Skyrim Special Edition

I'm getting pretty burnt out after 60 hours in

Finished Mage,Thieves, Dawnguard DLC and Companions guild. Saved Dark Brotherhood for last cause I heard its the best. I'm not going to do civil war since it doesn't fit with my character. Haven't even met the greybeards yet

I'm around level 40 with my 3 main stats maxed at 100 already. Destruction. Illusion and Enchanting. So I wont level up much more unless I go out of my way to use other weapons or other crafting.

I was going to upgrade lockpicking but I'm glad I never did. I have 0 points in it and still have over 60 lockpicks at any given time. I can unlock all of them pretty easily expect for the masterlocks. But I kept the skeleton key for now so I will be able to do the masterlocks with no issue for a bit

Don't get your hopes up too high guys. But if ESO has dug that deep, I would tend to take him to the word. Oblivion, remastered into Skyrim's engine? It can't be true, can it?

Listen carefully if you don't mind the accent!

My Archer/One handed build is kicking some serious ass. My original build way back was a pure archer, but now that I have some sword and board skills, the game has really opened up. The hand to hand combat still kind of sucks overall, but it's nice to have the option, regardless. That, and the one-handed kill cams are amazing.

Here comes another 100 hours or so.

Have fun on your next 100! With the "Ordinator: perks of Skyrim" mod, you can take advantage of the unarmed combat at last. If you mix that with the "Races of Skyrim" mod and play a Khajii, it becomes potent and even beastly.

The unarmed kill cam can give some gems but is very hard to trigger:

Lockpicking is pretty much useless and very hard to level up without training. I always specialize my builds but I give them "leveling" skills. Since the introduction of the "Legendary" option, it's an effective way to develop unique builds and re-allocate perks to try new things.

A skill like illusion is very easy to lvl to 100. Raise it to 90 by casting muffle / invisibility constantly. Go to the college and complete the illusion mastery quest. Buy the Harmony spellbook. Go to Whiterun, Solitude or any big city. Cast Harmony in a big crowd, you'll instantly lvl Illusion up to 100. Make it legendary to bring it down to 15. Cast harmony a dozen times and surprise, you're back to Illusion lvl 100!

Just a hint, don't exploit tricks like that or you'll regret it. It is a bruilding tool to try different options by leveling up instead of using consoles and cheats.

I'm playing on 360. I can only mod my orange juice into a screwdriver.

Yeah, I've been seeing all sorts of new shit with the one-handed kill cam. It's amazing. Gives you a that little bit more incentive.

I just bought the deed for Lakeview Manor from the steward in Falkreath and being able to build my own residence has brought many tears of joy to my eyes. Living outside the town in seclusion is much more than I had hoped for. As Loki is a man of the land it's opened up the game so much more for me. No longer am I solely a raider and a pillager of the land. I now take the time to collect building materials and mine even more ore than before which has slowed down my story progression pace but increased my leveling up pace.

I've also switched up to a shield and ax for the time being till I can level up my blocking enough to get the perks I want for my build. Once I'm satisfied with my blocking skills I'll be returning to dual axes in 1-on-1 battles.

Kill cam is awesome! I've had times where I grab the back of an enemies neck with one ax, pull them close and then finished them off with a brutal blow with my other ax. That among many many others, but it's by far my favorite to watch.

That's exactly what the game is about: immersing yourself in a character of your creation. You set the parameters and the limits to follow, the more the better! Have fun with block, it's a blast to level up. A trick if you're low level is to pick a place with skeletons on minor draughr. Kill all of them but leave one alone. When you're done, just let him attack you, block and shield bash. Repeat the process, you should be able to gain the perks you need to progress without exploiting too much. Don't stay there too long unless you really want to try high level block perks fast!

Thanks, but no thanks. In order for Loki to gain confidence in his ever growing power he must earn his skills through blood, sweat and more blood.

I was using Sven as my follower for awhile as his appearance went perfectly with my Viking theme, but over time I grew tired of his whining about potential battles. Loki has no time for the weak! Sven died in battle on the edge of a cliff so I spit on his corpse and threw him over the edge after emptying his pockets of all of value.

Warning: only click play if you have 30 free minutes in front of you. You. will. not. be. able. to. stop.

Warning done, enjoy!

Hahaha I remember the one Dunmer companion you can hire at the Retching Netch. On my original 360 playthrough he was with me through a ton of adventures and finally got whacked at the peak of a waterfall in Solstein. I put his body in the river and watched him go over the edge.

I'm strictly with Serana now. She cleans up draugrs and skeletons really well, plus I gave her my Nightingale Blade.

It would be cool if there were a mod that when a non essential companion gets whacked you can bury them and give them a grave marker.

Someone sets a single-eyed stare on you and smiles at your words:

Sven is great but if I remember correctly, he has no fighting class. As a Bard, he has convenience perks and good sneak but that's about it. Don't embark him on the Drakkar, he will most likely not make it to the raid destination! Leave him at the Gates of Valhalla and rest on his shoulder while crossing the rainbow bridge: Sven will be there for his fallen brother! He'll sing a song about your deeds, that's his destiny.

Hail.

So I decided that I'm going to put my current playthrough on hold and start a legendary playthrough

I'm planning on going Breton for the 25% magic resistance and make him a sword and shield character. I am rocking the Ordinator perks mods too

Anyone got any tips for me ?

I just turned 206 Not a whole lot can withstand my powers

If you're using Ordinator perks mod, I advise you to choose a specific build. There are too many to just go blindly and waste perks around. I know there is a subforum on Reddit about Ordinator build but I never stay long on Reddit, I havent dug deep. I create all my original builds, mostly with the help of build videos.

If you don't want to be bothered, I advise you to at least find a theme related to the new possibilities. For example, the cleric is now a very viable option. The Ordinator perks mod will open new options in the restoration tree: a perk like warrior's flame will curse nearby ennemies while Inquisitor makes you very strong against undead. With Inquisitor, all enemies touched by warrior's flame count as undead. You can now use all your anti-undead spells against them.

Then, use the conjuration tree to boost your undead control and you'll see, you can be a warrior type focused on undead destruction and control: you're so devoted a zealot, you destroy undead and raise them back to fight other undead! A fanatic fanatic, if you will.

That is one idea. If you're not going to dig that deep, I still advise you to read the list of all new perks to know where you're heading: Ordinator mod can be confusing, it's better to have a plan in head when you use it. Or dare to experiment blindly and keep us advised, I wanna know how it goes!

http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/68425/?

The perk list is really, very, extremely extensive. It cannot even be posted on Sherdog, I get the "message too long" message. That's very long indeed...

Over all, have fun!

Damn level 206? I never got a character that far, I don't even think I ever got over level 100! Where do you put the perk points when you level up? You must be unstoppable!

Last thing: if you're pumping up the difficulty, keep in mind how powerful shouts are. You can't disregard them anymore, you must use them to their full potential. You cannot prosper on Legendary without good shouts meant for every situations. That's why I advise you to add the "Epic Shouts" mod, I think it's called Thunderchild.

New shouts, new powers and a new library to meditate in High Hrothgar. A shout like "Curse" is now my favorite, especially for my Redgurad build. Curse will reflect damage received on your enemy. Since I wear no armor and have boosted my health immensely, it kills the enemy if he dares attempt a power attack on me!

Sure, I end up with 20% health after the power hit but it so fun to have a boss die because he wanted to kill you so much, the hit killed him!

Powerful casters are about the only thing that harms me or makes me have to take cover from time to time.

I start a game by putting my points into 2 hand sneak bow and light armor but I will fill in all the other trees as points allow. Im just short of having enough points laying around at any given time to fill in almost every tree at my current level.

Few more levels and Ill break my biggest ps3 character evers max. My 2 current goals are to be able to loot the entire world without having to go back to town and seeing how many times I can level before the game tells me no.

I have a lot of mods goin on I really am enjoying that all these months and years later Im finding all kinds of new shit and places to go. I dont mess with effects and rain and all that it seems pointless to me but I do have a lot of mods that add quests craf able shit and more bandits. The extra bandit camps and lost dungeons mods are awesome

That's awesome. I prefer to create a lot of different characters but I can see the value in experimenting to the limit. I think I made it once over lvl 90 but never 100. I get bored when there's no more challenge. I know some enemy scale with you but most quests have set lvl, even Legendary cannot make these quest interesting if you keep them for later.

Didn't they do Morrowind too as "Skywind"?
